This lovely Daimler was built in 1967 & was shipped to Jersey where it resided until 1972 when it returned to the mainland & was reregistered. Hence the "K" registration.
The car was driven into dry storage in the late1980's. It was removed from storage last year when it was got running & the brakes were overhauled.
The calipers were all refurbished with new discs & pads. ew flexi pipes & caliper seals.
The handbrake mechanism is missing.
The engine runs sweetly & the automatic gearbox seems to operate ok.
I think the recorded mileage of 53. 74 could well be genuine. The car wouldn't have been driven very far on Jersey.
The car is fitted with power steering. ut this is currently disconnected ( belt removed).
The bodywork is generally pretty sound but there is a small amount of welding needed underneath to the innersills & one jacking point.
The interior is generally good. he leather could do with a good clean. ut is sound. as are the wood & carpets.
I thoroughly recommend viewing the car to assess the condition for yourself.
With a bit of work & TLC this will make a very nice car.
Although the car drives it is not MOT'd or roadworthy & will need to be trailered away.
