1946 - Hudson Pickup

Here we have an excellent example of a 1947 Hudson “Big Boy” pick up. I purchased the truck as I’ve wanted one since I was a kid as my grandfather; father and uncle were always Hudson guys. Which then made me a Hudson guy…and now my 10 year old son is a Hudson guy(of course the Disney/Pixar movie Cars further emphasized Hudson’s domination with nascar and being ahead of their time)? I do own several cars as well as other Hudson’s. I have four young children and have made a decision to sell my cars that they cannot accompany my wife and I in (with the exception of my 1935 auburn speedster). Now back to the truck. the body-undercarriage-frame is in very good condition with no signs of rust or corrosion. The truck runs and drives wonderfully. In fact I went out to get it out of my storage building and it fired right up after sitting for 3 months. All systems work as they should. I did replace the head gasket two years ago. at that time I had the head gone thru and check for any failures. it passed with flying colors.    It is the original drive train and it all performs very well. It is not a trailer queen. It is a great looking and running truck that can be used day one. I hope it can bring someone as much joy as it has brought me and my family.
