Unfinished aluminum Shelby cobra CSX4023 427 body 42gal fuel cell. carpet. nbsp;wide flares. custom one off wheels. nbsp;Upgraded brakes. custom roll bar and more. One of the earliest cars the 23rd car built in the 4000 series.  To build a Cobra at Shelby today cost is 160. 00 plus tax also Shelby does not build there cars anymore Kirkham builds the cars now so you will not have an original Shelby.  After the car came back from Shelby alot of time was spent on the welds they were sanded down and filled so they can not be seen and then the chassis was repainted. If you google Cobra CSX 4023 for sale look down the page where it says Davidsclassiscar click that link more pictures. The chassis was built at Shelby America In March 1997 with a fiber glass body that body was sold and then we had a aluminum body build following the lines on my original Cobra . The car is still on the MSO from Carroll Shelby signed by Carroll himself. Billy Andrews from HRE motor car's in Freeport NY put the car together. He is one of the best cobra builders in the country. He restored CSX 3301 that sold for 850. 00 the highest price for a street car ever in 2007 . You can call him for more info on the car. The car comes with all but seats and dash. Of course the motor and tranny are not in it but they are for sale separate from the car. A all aluminum 427 and a 6 speed Tremec Transmission for 50. 00 cost was 65000 plus the transmission. If you by the package with the motor and tranny at 150. 00 I will give you seats. dash. and gauges and everything else to completely build this car.
