1969 Dodge Charger

   For sale is a 1969 Dodge Charger project car. This car started out as a 383" HP big block car with an automatic transmission.   The frame rails are solid front to rear. It is a rolling project that is ready for restoration. I have clear title. and the fender tag as well.  . Just an excellent car to build. because all of the hard work has been done.  

BODY:
The body (including the undercarriage) has been stripped to bare metal. so there is nothing hiding. All of the under coating has been removed. The entire undercarriage has been painted with POR 15 gloss black epoxy paint. and the outer body has been sprayed in black primer.
All of the frame rails are in very good condition. A new trunk pan has been installed. The interior floors have had a few small patches welded in. The rear 1/4 panels have been repaired. The doors are solid. The front fenders have been repaired. but I would replace them. The grill is in very good condition. and includes most of the vacuum mechanism. The hood and trunk lid are in very good condition. All of the glass has been removed for body and paint work. but I do have it (except the front windshield).   The rear valance. and corners are new.   Most of the stainless trim is present. The torsion bar mount and the frame rails are solid from front to back.  

INTERIOR:
The interior has been removed for restoration. I have Original front bucket seats. but they will need recovered. The upper door and rear trim pads are present. and in decent condition. as are the door and rear panels. I have a new headliner. new carpet and a nice dash pad. The rallye gauge cluster is present.  

DRIVE TRAIN:
There is no engine or transmission that come with the car. The original big block 383" drive train has long been gone. The rear end is an 8-3/4". open center. I can help locate an engine and trans if you want. The wheels and tires are brand new 15" American Racing wheels. with New BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.   

OVERALL:
This car is a very good candidate for a restoration. resto-mod. or "General Lee" build. The body is in better condition than most projects out there. Most of the parts are included with the car (minus the engine/trans). This would be a great Father/Son/Daughter project. The 1969 Dodge Charger is one of the most sought after cars on the planet. . and this one won't be for sale long. so don't hesitate.
