Vehicle Overview: Stock: 1344 VIN: 124377N177283 Year: 1967 Exterior Color: Gold Make: Chevrolet Interior Color: Black Model: Camaro Mileage: 37218 Engine: 327ci Transmission: Manual Vehicle Description: The 1967 Camaro was Chevrolet's impressive. if belated. response to the Ford Mustang. Produced in sport coupe and convertible styles. Camaro offered an extensive "menu" of optional performance. appearance and comfort/convenience — much to the delight of enthusiasts. then and now. During the first year. a Trans-Am racing-inspired RPO Z28 302 V-8 Special Performance package and big-block SS396 options were added. Camaro paced the Indy 500 in 1967. and would do so again in 1969. The RS was an appearance package that included hidden headlights. revised taillights with back-up lights under the rear bumper. RS badging. and exterior bright trim. It was available on any model. This RS Camaro you see before you represents an extremely fine example of Chevrolet's pony car from 1967. This is believed to be a 3-owner car that was sold new at McIntire Chevrolet in Bloomington. IN to a Mr. David Kent Prather on 2/3/1967. Then the car was sold to Mr. S. A. Chamberlain from Linton. IN on 5/21/1977. Lastly the car was sold to Mr. Del Darga in Wind Lake. WI on 7/18/2016. Of course I retain the Original Owner's Manual; Original Owner Protection Plan Warranty Booklet with Protect-O-Plate still attached; and an Indiana Certificate of Registration from 9/15/1980. The car is now shown with a clear Wisconsin title free of liens or brands. The exterior of the car is lined with laser-straight sheet metal. and almost perfect body lines and gaps. Now… I don't want to claim there hasn't ever been any work done to the exterior of this car. but if there was; they did a phenomenal job. The correct Granada Gold exterior paint shines brightly. and is free of defects. The interior shows just as well. Some of the original parts remain in the car just to show you how nice of an example this car was prior to the restoration. However; the soft surfaces have all been replaced due to normal wear. and look absolutely amazing. The correct black bucket seats and center console with the Hurst shifter are a nice added touch from the person who ordered this car new from the factory. The 327 small block is believed to be original to the car. As most people know; GM did NOT stamp serial numbers on the blocks of small block engines (except Corvettes) prior to 1968. So I cannot call the car “numbers matching”; however based on the stampings we did find on the engine; we believe it to be original. The entire motor has been rebuilt. and truly runs like new. The Muncie 4-speed manual transmission falls into the same category as the engine. Believed to be original. and shifts perfectly. - True RS Camaro (3L) - Original 327 V8 - Original 4-speed manual transmission - Correct Hurst shifter - Restored to original Granada Gold exterior paint (G-G) - Restored to original black custom bucket seat interior (765-Z) - Dual exhaust - Rear spoiler - Headlight doors rebuilt so they work correctly This is a true RS Camaro with all the original equipment. and fully restored. First generation Camaro's like this are considered “investment quality”. Don't miss out on this one! Vehicle Photos: About Vintage Motorcars. LLC:
