1968 MG MGB GT

For your consideration is my beautiful MGB offered at NO RESERVE. When I applied for the custom plate at the DMV I was astonished that 68 MGBGT had not been taken! My good fortune can be yours. as this plate is included with the car.

It is a dry California car. has been treated well. and is an absolute people magnet wherever I go. It is especially fun when someone comes up and says "Hey. what year is your car?" I just smile and point at the license plate.

The chrome wire wheels look near new. and add just that much more to the traditional flavor and presentation of a British Racing Green sports car. Excellent matching radial tires. I know. the camera makes the car look black. but it is not. Another interesting plus is that this GT includes air conditioning. which blows ice cold. Around a $2. 00. addition. but worth it if you live somewhere hot.

The car fires right up. runs cool and strong. the clutch is solid. and the transmission as smooth as glass. Within the last year my mechanic has installed a new battery. new brakes. rotors. front and back. re-tuned the suspension. new alternator. engine tune up. oil change. and a beautiful. upgraded aluminum radiator. Some things will need additional sorting out. For example. the dash flashers currently do not work. This beautiful 49 year-old classic is sold "as is". without warranty.

The paint is beautiful. an estimated 8-10 years old. not perfect. Lovely chrome and lenses. The interior looks as good as it does in the photographs. but will need sun visors. Great headliner. When you have a chance. look down the sides of the car in some of the photographs that follow. In them. you will see a car that is very straight. I can find no cancerous rust underneath. I have noticed a smaller area of rust low down. in only one of the doglegs. Obviously that little drain hole in the fender plugged up at some point in time. You have to look close to see this. This car is a keeper!

Includes a nice Moto Lita wood steering wheel. seat belts. spare tire. factory jack. correct owners manual. and an original MGB GT sales brochure featuring a GT on the front that LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THIS ONE! WOW!
