Bugatti Type 35 Boat Tail Racer Replica.               

Great for a car showroom. weddings. or just for fun this summer and beyond (sorry not a Teal). Based on. but you can't tell. a VW chassis and 1300 rear engine . The shell is fibreglass not aluminium as the Teal.

She is on SORN & has no MOT.

The off-side rear wheel suffered slight damage due to new wheel stud failure & needs repairing / re-fitting (all parts including a new wheel drum . drum spacer. stud collets and new rear brake shoes are part of the sale). The brakes need repairing / bleeding & she requires a good & thorough service and of course an MOT. A reasonable skilled amateur could have the old girl back on the road within a day + or through a garage. around one days labour at a cost of around £400.

Whilst not true Bugatti colour. most boat tails were blue. she is a little stunner & is mistaken for a 1930 Alfa more times than not. I have owned her for about 8 years plus & when we did the Christmas run people always stopped & waved. a real car based Railway Children moment if you like.

Given the rear wheel & drum are off. the purchaser will need a trailer to recover and wheel dolly.

The rear off-side light bracket needs repair.

This car has been off the road a number of years.

ONO possible. but don't be daft a similar car is on the market for £12k this month. This is a rare kit car one of no more than 100 +. see the original kit cars website for further details at Replicar.

Expect to pay up-wards of £28k for a Teal and £400k for a real one. so the price asked is a fair one. Now even a better price (I have reduced it by £1000) as I need to clear garage space for another car coming soon. If I don't sell this time around I will have the repair undertaken by my own garage and put it on the market at £12k. So grab a deal while you can.

 Note: The three photographs following the main lead picture are an example vehicle only. sorry.  My Bugatti Replica has black seats. a wood dash. black carpets and  no seat belts. The paintwork finish is superior to the car shown.
