1966 Chrysler Town & Country

Letting go of my 1966 Chrysler town and country wagon. I purchased this car about 3 years ago out of a collection. and prior to that. the vehicle was in dry heated storage for over 20 years. Before that. out west. It is nearly 100% rust free. Its a show stopper and has won myself some trophies for unique vehicle and its cool factor. Be ready to make a lot of friends anytime you stop.  
383 727 auto 3 speed trans.  Factory AC car. no third row. or roof rack was optioned. Vin plate is pictured for the enthusiast to option code. Clean title.

I have had this car professionally rebuilt mechanically and had a bumper to bumper undercarriage rebuild done to make the vehicle drive comfortable and reliably. as well as safe. Replaced components include 
Suspension / Steering  Rebuilt original Power steering pump. and replaced with more modern pump. Original is included in sale 
power steering hoses steering box (brand new)pitman armtie rodsend linksall suspension bushings front to rear including torsion bar bushings in subframe (very important)brand new custom build leaf springs (1 off set. no longer in production)shocks (4)ball jointsall control arms and components were stripped. cleaned. and resprayed black Professionally aligned after we lowered front end about 1. 5-2 inches
BrakesBrake hosesdrum shoesall four corners rebuilt with new brake hardware with adjusters.  System was inspected and flushed. Works well.
MotorCarburetor was rebuilt and air filter replacedTransmission was drained. inspected. nbsp;filter and gasket replaced. and refilled.  Valve cover gaskets replaced. as well as battery cables.  New batteryGas tank dropped. drained. cleaned. small hole repaired. nbsp;resealed and put back in place.  Factory style undercoating sprayed on tank.  
InteriorSteering column wiring was replaced to tighten up and fix turn signal function. Both Fender markers work as they should. and taillight bulbs were replaced.  Dash lights were replaced with new bulbs.  Headlights. nbsp;turn signals. washer fluid nozzles. nbsp;wipers. blower motor and rear window (power window on tailgate) function as should Carpet was damaged from heater core leak. so it is partially removed on driver and passenger side floors. Floor mats cover the problem. Passenger side has a small hole from heater core leak. Replacement pans are available for these C body mopars.  
Undercarriage

Looks like new. Wheel wells are clean and have NO RUST. Wheel coverings come off easily. I had a light coating of undercoating applied along the bottom to protect it since we planned on driving it. Still has factory original muffler and exhaust system. Drives quiet and smooth.  
Body Paint shows some age. Was resprayed many years ago. so its chipping and peeling in a few small / tight areas. Ive buffed and waxed it with no issues however.  Cleans up very nicely.  Some wrinkling in drivers side front fender near marker light. Only noticeable from drivers seat. All chrome is original and there. Has factory tow package and original lift springs are included with car.  
WheelsFactory steelies with original hub caps in great condition are included in the sale wrapped in brand new tires with 10 mile on them.  18' Detroit steel wheels custom built / painted for the car are currently on it with Dunlop direzza summer tires.  
Window felts. and seats will need recovering from heat and age. however carpet in rear is in great shape.  Car is missing sun visors. Dash pad has typical crack in center. however is still usable. Radio speaker is dry rotted. nbsp;however radio does function (just no sound) AC compressor is all there. just needs servicing. Heater core has been unplugged. and new core is included in sale.  Small drips of trans fluid and oil remain (typical old Mopar) . nbsp;otherwise no issues. I have a reproduction owners Manuel. as well as the original protect-o-plate from the radiator core support in my possession with Vin stamped on it. Comes with a fresh oil change as well as 2 sets of original keys. as well as 4 key blanks if you have the doors rekeyed.  Runs and drives great.  
Ive driven this car around 1000 miles since the rebuild and have had zero problems. Cruises 85mph with power to spare. Starts right up even after a month of sitting.
