This is a '49 Chrysler New Yorker convertible. We purchased this car from an estate wherein the owner had passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. The car was about 95% completed when we acquired it and we had it finished. The body was taken off and everything was cleaned repaired or replaced. The frame and underside is as nice as the top side (see photos). All chrome was redone and stainless polished. Interior is beautifully done as is the convertible top. Engine runs perfect. smooth. quiet. powerful. Fluid Drive works well as do the brakes. Most everything on the car functions as it should including the radio and clock! Does need heater/defroster core. exterior rear view mirrors are missing (they are available) and one 2” long moulding at rear of body. Driven less than 10 miles since completed. Car located in Mishawaka. Indiana about 15 minutes off the Indiana toll road. If you are serious about a possible purchase you should come and see it for yourself. For appointment call 574-229-2622. A $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the conclusion of the auction. Balance when picked up. Direct bank transfer is preferred or combination of cash and personal check (once cleared).
