Kingsley Cars are well known Range Rover Classic specialists (see www. kingsleycars. com).  We are delighted to offer this ultra low mileage Phase 3 1980 Range Rover 2 Door finished in Masai red which has been the subject of a restoration approximately three years ago.

This is a totally usable example which is beautifully solid and could become the basis for an absolutely stunning restoration but as can be seen from the pictures. its currently in very good condition.  The Range Rover has previously undergone a comprehensive refurbishment to the body. mechanics and interior by an enthusiastic owner. Whilst the Masai paintwork is good. it has not been applied to the same standard of our concours cars but in reality this car. in its current condition and price. is about being reliable. structurally sound and daily usable.

This 2 door only had 4 owners between 1982 and 2012 and it has covered just 58068 genuine miles from new!  She comes with all of the original MOT certificates from 1988 together with the tax discs from its first registration onwards. it also has the original stamped “Passport to Service” booklet which validates the mileage with the service history!

These cars are rocketing in value at present and given their rarity in this condition makes this car a great investment!

The Range Rover drives very well with power assisted steering she has the original (very rare) upgrade leatherette seats which are in fantastic condition. as are the carpets and door cards (both of which are newly refurbished).  We will replace the headlining for the new owner which will finish the interior off beautifully.

Underneath the engine bay is very nice as can be seen by the pictures. the inner wings are original with only the slightest traces of surface corrosion. the chassis is very good condition - we have not covered anything up but will fully waxoyled the car once sold so it will stay in this solid condition.

The car benefits from £1239 of expenditure in April 2013 which included a new clutch. a new clutch master cylinder. a new exhaust pipe. a new fuel pump and a pair of shock absorbers and we have just fully checked it our workshops. balanced the carbs and properly serviced the car.
