1981 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

For sale here is an amazing time capsule! This car was ordered as a US version and picked up at the factory in Stuttgart. See attached invoice. The original price was DM 77. 84. 57. The gentleman that ordered the car changed the order from tan/cream to silver/grey. but that is not reflected on this copy of the invoice. The car has 29. 59 original miles. I could go on about the condition. but it is incredible for its age. The paint is good with some door ding chips. The interior is close to perfect. Everything works properly that I have activated. The car just passed the Colorado emission test. It comes with a set of sisal floor mats (when was the last time you saw a set of those!). car cover. emergency road signals and the original first aid kit still in the compartment on the back package tray (unopened I believe). This car has never been smoked in and all the ashtrays are flawless. The wood trim is mint with no cracks anywhere. The tires are close to new. I could go on. but this car is beyond exceptional.
There is a file of maintenance that I believe is complete and verifies the mileage. The original manuals. etc and all the hang tags are in the glove box from the day it was delivered. That said. there are a few items that need repair. The shock absorbers all need replaced from sitting. The engine has not been properly adjusted for the altitude in Denver (5280ft). It was shipped here from Phoenix. The right outside mirror spring mechanism needs repair. Those are the only items I am aware of that should be addressed.
