1954 Chevrolet Other Pickups 1/2 Ton v8 Hot Rod Rat rod

Click above arrow for video of this 1954 International Rat/Hot Rod Pick Up Truck (if doesnt work. try watching on non mobile device like home pc)     This 1954 IHC 120 1/2 ton pick up truck was Hot rodded by the previous owner to haul his classic harley motorcycle to car shows and use as his shop truck at his service station in northern minnesota. He lowered the front suspension using a oldsmobile front stub and installed a 455 big block olds engine. He used a olds 12 bolt olds rear end.  The v8 engine runs like a dream with no knocks misses or smoke.  Notice in the video. the engine valve covers and air cleaner are painted to show off the patina.  Really neat custom paint work there. The truck has a nice mean sound from the good exhaust.  Nice throaty mean sound to it.  He installed a B&M rachet shifter. He passed away two years ago and the truck sat in his shop until the estate could be settled this year. I bought the truck. and trailered it to our shop here in Waukon Iowa and ran it off the original gas tank for errands and the video. I installed a new brake master cylinder along with two new rear brake wheel cylinders. nbsp;I rebuilt the carb. installed a new thermostate housing and made sure all of the lights (headlights. blinkers. tailights. backup light etc) all work I noticed the alternator guage. temp guage and oil pressure guage all work. The speedo and gas guage were in/op. The vacume brake booster should be replaced and the tires also should be replaced (dry rotted and one belt in front tire letting loose) The truck over 40 mph has a shake in the front due to the steel belt in the front tire letting loose. maybe a tie rod end getting loose. either way shouldn't be too hard to figure out in my opinion) The seats were custom mounted on welded wheel rims to the floor and seat. Really a neat look! the windows go up and down but need lubing and there was some cracks in the passenger glass (easy fix flat glass) As the video shows. it is a truck you can drive right away as you tweak it to be a perfect daily driver hot rod/ rat rod.  The body is very solid and the paint/patina looks AWESOME! this truck comes with a clean minnesota title numbers matching the vin tag ready for you to register. When we ran this off the original tank. I noticed some light sedimentation in the fuel filter so I would recommend cleaning out the gas tank.  This is a really cool rat rod and it gets tons of looks when I park it outside of my business and I had a blast driving it around town and for the video! Neat feel to it! The air cooler in the window. license plates. dash magnets do not go with the sale as they are part of my personal collection. I am setting the reserve well below market value to ensure a sale. only bid if you are serious about buying it!  I do not want to overcall this truck or undercall it. let the video and pictures tell the story. Deposit: a500 dollar non refundable deposit must be paid by paypal or wire transfer within 24 hours of auction end.  Items will not be available for pickup or shipping until full payment is received and cleared by our local bank.  Buyer has 7 days to pay in full either by bank wire transfer. mailing check. or cash in person. Customer has 30 days from end of sale to pick up or make arrangments with me to have the vehicle stored.   All items are sold AS IS with no warranty of any kind unless specified in the ad. Fee and Tax Information:
