In the 70's the need to be recognized. the need to be flamboyant and stand out in the crowd was so prevalent back then we did anything to show off. We didn't just want to show up. we wanted to arrive. Arrive with all the style we could. As the 80's creeped into site we became a little more conservatives and the remanence of the carefree flashy 70's started to fade away. But for the few that remained with the concept of go big or go home. were so attracted to these Tiffany Classics. This car was Elite and it took all 18 and ½ feet of it to arrive at function. It stopped traffic and it was the best combination of the roaring 20's styling and flashiness combined with the most modern of the day's technology. These cars were powerful. efficient and so stylish that if you had the means. you wanted the car. Please read on to find out the condition of this 12k mile rare find…. 1987 Tiffany Classic

 

Exterior:

 

As you can see from the picture this car presents very well for its age. This car is based off the 1987 Mercury Cougar platform. The body is in excellent condition. The paint shines very well with much depth. The body panels are accident free and should be with only 12k miles on it. The wheels are in excellent condition. The tires are even good for their age. Remember. this car was removed from a 100 car collection and has been stored in a climate controlled environment for many. many years. The chrome and brightwork are brilliant and the straps in the back are dry and would need replacing. All the glass is perfect. Look at the pictures. because what you see is what you get!! Interior:

 

The interior is brilliant and as new as you can get for its age. Showing hardly. if any signs of wear at all. Everything works as it should and all the numbers and display on the digital dash work perfectly. The leather is like new. As are the carpets. headliner. dash. door panels and seats. The interior also supplies a quite a feeling to be able to look over its MASSIVE hood as you drive. Please look at the interior. and let us know of any questions you may have.

 

Drive-Train:

 

People that are familiar with the 5. 0 fuel injected V8 platform of this time. know that it's the most reliable. and most efficient V8 Ford has ever produced. It supplies enough horse power to make the rear wheels roast up yet its efficient enough to obtain low 20's in miles per gallon. The overdrive transmission (AOD) shifts perfect and this car is as new as its gonna get. All components seem road worthy but we would urge you to check it over and service it before road trips Tires should be replaced due to age and flat spots accured during storage.

 

In summation…. this car. for the money. is probably a must have to enhance any collection. Or. if you want to get into collecting cars and the automobile show circuit this would be a great start.
