This is auction is for a Custom built 1952 Chevy truck.   It has been in the build process for 2 years.   Parts have been gathered up over the last 20 years.   This truck was built to resemble the custom hotrods of the 1950's.   It has been built with mostly vintage parts.   It does have front disc brakes for safety and non power rack and pinion to keep a clean profile.   I call this truck the Orphan.   The 52 was built from 30 different vehicles.   Over the years I gathered up parts that were neglected and left abandoned.   A long time ago I decided to collect all these parts that no one wanted and make a bad ass hotrod out of them that everyone wanted.   2 years ago I decided I had just about everything needed to get started. so with a blank canvas and a shop full of parts the build began.

Parts and Performance:

1952 Chevy truck Cab (1 1/2 ton)

1949 doors(no vents)

All fenders. hood. bed panels tailgate and grill are from different trucks. parts I found here and there.

50's dodge truck headlight rings welded to fenders to French them(no kit)

41 Ford car dash. the original chrome speedometer bezel was used but the inside was updated with 1965 Chevy truck Speedometer. aftermarket fuel gauge and mini tachometer everything else was custom.

60's Mustang gas tank(NEW)

68 Mustang Cobra bucket seats(new covers)

Model A taillights

Custom frame with G-body suspension.   I found this in a field. added body mounts. had it media blasted and painted it with POR-15.   All brakes pads. brake lines. nbsp;rotors and bearings are new.

8. 8 Ford rear end with new Auburn limited slip 3. 73 gears. 31 spline Moser axles drilled to fit Chevy lug pattern. Trickflow housing with bearing supports. new bearings. fluid.  and gasket.

TH400 transmission. rebuilt with high performance Red Alto friction plates. Kolene steel plates. new seals/gaskets. 2800 Stall. B&M Pro Ratchet Shifter

350 4 bolt main. Dart "Iron Eagle" heads(2. 02/1. 60 valves). forged steel crank. Big Mutha Thumpr Cam. dual quad intake with 500cfm carbs. Comp Magnum 3/8 rods. LS powder rods

Chevy car steel wheels.  media blasted and powder coated. Bias ply Firestone wide white wall tires. 5" fronts and 8. 5" rear drag slicks(DOT approved)

All new glass. stainless trim. rubber and felts. New wiring harness(wires covered with cloth tape for a vintage and clean look). aluminum radiator painted black. radiator hoses custom cut to look original.

The cab has a lot of custom work done to it. Not sure how long ago it was done but All original parts were used to create the suicide doors. firewall was left original but has many holes field for a cleaner look. the bed was pushed closer to the cab with the running boards and filler panels shortened for a better looking appearance.   When putting this truck together I wanted it to represent the 50's.  how a hotrod should look. I wanted it to look as if it was a custom in the early 50's and later turned into a hotrod in the late 50's. I did not want it to look like some truck that had aftermarket parts bolted on. I felt that the truck needed to show what kind of life it has lived. what it came from. yet look as if has been this way for the last 50 years.  I took it to a car show Nov. 7th of this year and it won the "Greaser" award.  an award for the best looking 50's style hotrod. so I guess I achieved what I set out to do.   First car show and got a top award/trophy for exactly what it was meant to represent. not bad for an "orphan".  a truck built from parts nobody wanted. a truck that still shows its scars.

P. S. I'm sure I have left some details out. and many of you will have questions I have not addressed in this auction. some of you will be wanting to trade. I will answer your questions asap. I'm easy to deal with. I am up for trades but I will want cash to go with whatever your trading. also I do not want property unless its in Sherman. TX. I do not want boats or bikes. and last thing I must say. I'm familiar with all the scams. also nothing outside the U. S. A unless I get cash in hand.  I will offer a buy it now if someone is interested. just make an offer. if the price is right I will delivery it for free.
