1956 Chevrolet Other Pickups

I lost the garage I was working in. (Neighbor sold his house. )

I have no way to finish the truck. Do to this and my physical health I must sell.

The paint is good. but not show quality. (Victory Red) There are some minor chips. This is an above ++ average daily driver.

I've put $7000. + in the motor alone. It was built to be bullet proof with top of the line parts.

 The Good:

Completely Rebuilt Turbo 400 w/ Stage 1 Shift Kit. (Built by Professional Shop)

New TCI Torque Converter - 2300 Stall

New Lokar Shifter

New Oil Pressure. Water Temp. And Transmission Temp gauges. All Hooked up.

New Deep transmission pan.  

New Lokar Oil Dip Stick

Never got to start the engine yet. Ran out of time with the garage.  

Engine Machine on Old Shell in Mobile did all the all the engine work.

Mechanic was a Funny Car Mechanic

4 bolt main SB Chevy. Bored . 60 over. All new bearings

New eagle stroker crank/rods and New Wiseco pistons

9. 5-1 compression (Street able on pumped gas)

This is a 383 Stroker Motor (Actually over 400 CI)

Completely rebuilt Chevy Votec Heads by Engine Machine

New Roller Rockers

Headman coated headers

New Elect. Fans

New Aluminum Fabricated Valve Covers

New Holey 750

Edelbrock Aluminum Intake I purchased used (I think it's the Performer - Idle to 5000 RPM)

6 Quart Oil Pan  - New Hamburger's

This will be around 450 real HP.

GM 4 core radiator - Leak tested.

Ford 9" rear end

3/4 ton springs in the truck. I have 1/2 ton springs included.

Ford F-150 front twin "I" beam suspension.  

Built in AM/FM CD Player (See Picture)

Bucket seats out of a van.

AC Compressor & Water Pump are new.

I have a new motor stand that goes with the truck. Still in the box. I won't ever need it. And a set of Chevy double hump 461 heads. New SBC Water Pump (Take Off). Any SBC parts I have laying around will be included. I also have some 1956 Chevy truck emblems that are included.  

The bad;

Needs Battery

Needs a head liner - $150

A/C needs charged and a condenser installed.

Minor wiring under the hood for the electric fans.

No drive shaft - $300

Brakes need bleeding & looked over.

No exhaust past the headers. I have 2 new Flowmaster 40 mufflers included.
