   Here is a beautiful 1954 MG TF roadster that was the subject of a beautiful and high quality frame off restoration many years ago.   This is a great piece of MG history and represents the best and final version of the MG T series sports cars. The TF was the end of an era for MG and as such the TF is one of the more collectible MGs due to there relatively low production and there beautiful styling. This particular car was owned by an engineer and British car enthusiast. He did an amazing job performing a beautiful frame off restoration and to high standards. This car was restored many years ago but looks shockingly fresh today. It has only traveled about 3k miles since its complete and through restoration.    This car is in excellent running condition and is fun to drive. The engine fires right up and runs great! This is a very smooth running engine (matching numbers as well) with very crisp throttle response. The cars transmission shifts beautifully and the car is a blast to drive.   This TF has been upgraded with MGA front disc brakes and wire wheels! The disc brakes really make all the difference on this car! One look under the hood. and you can see that this car has been lovingly cared for and given lots attention to detail.   This is a very hard model to find and you would be hard pressed to find a nicer TF for sale. while not a perfect concurs car. it is extremely nice and can be shown as well as being a very nice car to enjoy with the whole family and one that starts every time you hit the button. The beauty of this car is that it has been driven since its restoration and it runs and drives excellent. Best of all you will likely never see another one on the road!   This TF will make a great addition to anyone's collection!

Exterior: This beautiful MG has a beautiful rust free body. Everything on the car lines up excellent and the doors open and shut beautifully It is truly amazing how nice the body is on this car. After perfecting the body work. the car was treated to a very high quality repaint that looks EXCELLENT. You can tell the car was disassembled and painted all separately. Even the back side of panels such as the bottom side of the hood. and bottom side of the fenders all look remarkably rust free and accident free. This was not a car that was found in a field and put back together. This was ALWAYS a nice car. The body on the car is in great condition free of rust and dents. The body is in absolutely beautiful condition. All of the doors and panels line up nicely and the convertible top is in like new condition. In fact the top and side curtains have only been used once! The rear window is very clear and the top is free of rips and tears.   The chrome all looks very very nice as well. There is no cracking in the paint or rust bubbles anywhere on the body. The frame was painted and the bottom side of the car was detailed at the time of the restoration. Scroll down to the bottom of the ad to see underside photos of the car.   Over all the exterior shows beautifully and is in excellent condition showing only minor wear such as minor rock chips etc.

Interior: The interior of this British roadster  is in excellent condition and virtually like new! The interior is in great shape and almost perfect condition. The leather seats are free of rips and tears and the foam in the seats is in excellent shape as well. Believe it or not. this is actually a pretty comfortable car to fit into. I am roughly 6 feet tall and over 200lbs and I fit great! I absolutely love the octagon shaped gauges on these cars! These cars  are really neat cars and have truly beautiful design.   The beautiful steering wheel is in excellent condition and the carpet is like new as well. The top is like new and in excellent condition. Really overall the interior is highly presentable and in great condition. You can really see the quality and time taken on this restoration when you look at the  beautifully painted top frame and side curtains. Also. even the luggage compartment presents virtually as new. Even the things you cant see typically such as the bottom of the seats and seat frames were all cleaned stripped and repainted.   They really did a nice job with this car.

Engine: The matching numbers XPAG 4 cylinder  starts up and runs like a top!!! One press of the starter button is all it takes to start this car. The carb have been rebuilt and tuned to perfection!!! The engine fires right up and blows no smoke on start up or while driving. The engine was built at the time of restoration and has only gone 3k miles since its rebuilt.   The engine bay is virtually clean enough to eat off of. The restoration while older is holding up well and one look at the bottom side of this car truly shows the quality of this car. straight. solid. rust free. painted. clean. overall just a very nice car. The transmission shifts through all of the gears with ease and the clutch operates smoothly as well!!! The shift linkage really has a positive feel to the gear change. This car has been upgraded with MGA front disc brakes which really makes a world of difference on the car. The car rides. steers and stops nicely! The car is great fun to drive and makes for a great parade car. These are great cars because they are very reliable and any part you might need is readily available and very inexpensive.
