HISTORY

The date of first registration is july of 1987.

This  Defender spent all his life in the Southern region of France.

South of France hot climate has been very kind to the car compare to north of Europe.

I purchased the Defender  last summer to the first owner too old to drive.

This Defender has been used and loved by it's owner and it shows.

CHASSIS

All the chassis and rails are original. solid with no real rust and no treatment on it

It was a city vehicule and there is no off road damage to vehicule

BODYWORK

Again all original  5 doors. wings (fenders). rear tub. roof. bonnet (hood) foot wells all in good original condition. not been covered in checker plate to cover imperfections or dents.

Paint work. span > again original and not been repainted. As with any paintwork on a landy of this age it shows some imperfections. and the bodywork color is faded. See photos

This guarantees that is not a quick repaint to make it look fresh

INTERIOR

This left-hand drive Defender is as original as it come from the factory of Solihull in England.

with a complete dashboard all buttons and controls work as they should.

Gearbox. span > 5 speed. again original to vehicle. working perfectly. no nasty noises. no leaks. smooth gear changes up and down the box . hi/low and diff locks work as they should. Transmission is smooth. clutch is good. and brakes stop well.
Suspension &  power steering original spec springs. No leaks or noises works as it should. All have been inspected and any needed have been replaced with new.
