1969 Camaro Super Sport
 396/350 HP -  M-20 4 Speed Transmission - 3:08 Rear Ratio (Original Ratio was 3:55)
Numbers matching. with less than 2000 miles on complete rebuild of engine. transmission. and rear.
Burnished Brown exterior.  The car was repainted once in the 80's with lacquer. and very close examination looks to have some small patch panels that were nicely installed.  There are a few dings. and paint has typical lacquer checking in spots.  Overall excellent condition of all body panels. floors. trunk. etc.  It appears to have all "born with" body panels.
Parchment interior has original buckets. rear seating and headliner.  Door panels. and carpeting do not look original. Drivers seat bottom has a tear.  Dash pad previously replaced with dealer OEM unit.  An OEM used console was added. gauge package is in nice condition but will need some calibrating.  In place of the dash fuel gauge. a 6K redline tachometer was installed when the car had an L89/396.  The original engine was professionally rebuilt and reinstalled by a previous owner.  Emergency brake works but release rod is dis-attached.  Power steering. and an AM/FM stereo radio were added over the years.
Headers were added along with an aftermarket exhaust system.  Stewart Warner water temperature. and oil pressure gauges are mounted under the dash.
The rims were stripped. epoxy primed. and painted correct colors on both sides. They have new trim rings. caps and lug nuts.  Cooper Cobra  P225/70R14 tires were also installed at that time and have less than 150 miles on them.
Unfortunately there is no historical documentation.  I was able to get a report from NCRS that gave the build date and dealer.  One owner that had the car for over 30 years is alive and well. and would be available to fill you in on many incidentals about the car.
Please note that this is not a restored car. or trailer queen and is still very original and has good bones.  With over $10K already invested in the drive-train. nbsp;this Camaro can be left as a great driver. or considered for a frame on or frame off restoration with no reservations.  In person inspections are welcomed and recommended.  Please email with any questions.
