Genuine VH SLE commodore 3/1982 factory shadow tone. Indigo blue over mercury silver. factory V8 4. 2lt original motor. nbsp;power steering. 4 wheel disc brakes. air conditioning. automatic (381 pack no power windows or cruise control) 100% complete. nbsp;good solid car. unmodified. full matching numbers. if you are after a car to drop a bigger engine in modify. change this & change that this car is probably not for you as it's core value lies in the fact that it is a rare. complete. solid. numbers matching car (making it worthy of putting some time & money into & insuring an increase in future value). if you are not concerned whether a car has matching numbers or not you would be better of buying a standard 6cyl base model commodore at about 1/4 of the price & doing whatever you want to it.

V8 Motor is the original (documented) matching numbers 253. nbsp;has original exhaust manifolds. carby / inlet manifold. air cleaner. rocker covers etc. is a petrol only car & never been on gas. riginal motor has also been reconditioned at some stage & runs & sound great!Interior is reasonably clean. complete & original but not perfect. Body is pretty straight. has had no major damage or dodgy repairs. very little rust. very good around front & rear screens. hasn't had rear parcel shelf cut. great sills. good rear quarters. hasn't had wheel arches lipped & still has protector strips around wheel arches. very good boot & cabin floor. spare wheel well etc. has got a tow bar fitted. paint is in poor condition" & would do with a respray to bring it back to it's former glory. has all it's original panels including the all important radiator support panel with factory original matching number stamping. all 3 tags undamaged. matching & never removed. This car could be driven as is (not for show) or is an excellent candidate for a cosmetic or full top end restoration. very rare car in the most desirable factory SLE shadow tone color scheme & a V8. If you have been looking for a genuine factory V8 VH SLE shadow tone with full matching numbers in this combination chances are you have been looking for a while & know that they are rare & don't come up for sale often. these are hard enough to find now so you can imagine how hard they will be to find in a year or 2 & no doubt prices will go up accordingly. this car is a good investment & chance to own a piece of Australian Holden motoring history. please keep in mind that this car is 35 years old & has not been restored so it is not perfect. but has not been of the road for any long period of time as it was registered up till early this year.
Please I am not interested at all in low ball offers. there is a "little bit of room for negotiation" but not much. I have turned down an offer of around 13K so please if it is not within your budget give it a miss.
*I may consider a trade deal with a genuine matching numbers (full matching only) base model vh ss commodore. original condition car only no modifications doesn't have to be perfect just solid. unmodified. undamaged & complete (bit like my VH SLE) preferably white but would consider red this is the only trade deal that I may be interested in.
