1962 Pontiac Catalina

I want to start off by asking you to please call for honest answers BEFORE you bid. Or better yet. come by and look at the vehicle or have someone inspect it for you. I do the best I can describing my vehicles and I include very good pictures that can be expanded. I do this to try and avoid any misunderstandings. It is impossible to list every little item on a vehicle that may or may not be important to a buyer. Thanks.  
Also. please read the payment section carefully. I will not vary off of what is explained there. Cashiers checks may have hold put on them by my bank. My bank will give me a letter of how long the hold will be. I will forward a copy of the letter to you. The length of hold depends on the bank that it is sent from. Some smaller banks can take up to 10 business days. The car will not leave here until my bank says the check has cleared. No exceptions. That is why I like wire transfers and cash.  
 This is a super nice 2 door hard top Catalina and a true survivor. Only 46980 original miles. Spent it entire life down in Florida until very recently.  Nicest underside I have seen in quite a while. Dry as a bone.  
Body: Very solid and absolutely rust free. Floor and trunk pans are perfect. The paint is all original and in very good shape minus some minor patina. Still shines like new. All of the chrome and stainless trim is in excellent condition. No pitting at all. The right side tail light bezel has a small dent in it ( see pics ) Windows roll up and down as they should. Weatherstripping is still very nice and pliable. Doors close great.  
Driveline: All original and numbers matching. Newer exhaust. New brakes. Engine starts right up and sounds great. Transmission shifts great. No issues here at all.  
Interior: All original and super nice with the exception of the drivers top back corner. Very small split at the seam. Easy fix. ( see pics) All gauges work including the speedometer. Radio plays like new. Has optional map light in the dome light. Dash pad is like new.  
Misc. :  The wiring is all original and in very good shape. Non of that years of various owners having their own ideas about how to add electrical items.  
I have a clear Missouri title and it is in my name.  
I have almost every part to make this car a super duty clone. Clutch linkage. pedals. bell housing. flywheel. dual quad intake. 4 speed. factory shifter. 15" wheels. poverty hub caps. Dash blank off for the automatic letters. hood scoop. etc. All or part of the parts can be purchased separately after the auction is over. None of the extra parts are included in the sale.  

I will not give out my reserve price.  Please do not ask.

You can make a reasonable offer if you wish. but I will not end the listing once the auction hits the reasonable reserve price.  

Now for the business end. I encourage you. or someone you trust or hire. to come by and check out the vehicle in person. I will refund your deposit if the vehicle does not match the above description. The vehicle does not leave here until all funds clear my bank. Bank and cashiers checks can take up to 10 business days. My bank will give me a letter stating the date when the check will clear. I will forward a copy of the letter to you. Bank transfers can take up to 2 days depending on what time of the day it is initiated on your end. Again. my bank will let me know when it clears. Cash is great if picking it up in person.
