Hello! right here we have a very rare 100% complete coupe S. nbsp;only a dozen or so twin carbs exist in England and generally 99% of all the coupes you will see or find are built after 1973 so this being a very early car in one of the best colours and a twin carb makes this a rare old beast

This car is from Belgium and it has all the Belgium paperwork left hand drive with all correct tags chassis numbers logbook everything and also has a letter of sale in 1988 to the collector who stored this amongst others in a concrete dry barn full of dust for 25 years! Also a few manuals etc no service history purchase docs just normal Audi books. Car is unregistered in uk.

its a really good example in need of an overhaul and light restoration with the panels required the car is unbelievable for 42 years old! I know these cars well and all the usual suspects are good solid and rot free! the tops of inner wings. sills. front floorpans. boot floor are all excellent! in general it just needs body mechanics and paint. its a really straight car apart from the slight damage on drivers side however a good panel beater would easy sort it. its very light the damage I think it may have clipped a bollard or lamppost parking or something? A door and rear quarter can be supplied

but all it really needs is the rear arch! also got a bonnet to replace the existing one as front edge is knackered!

The engine turns over with no knocks sounds healthy but wont fire. we pushed it down a big hill to unload the lorry and used it to check that the clutch works all gears select and engage to turn with engine all was okay! didn't try brakes for fear of sticking on and the pushing in and out of my workshop becoming a nightmare! interior is clean no marks rips (except drivers seat as shown) headlining doorcards everything is really good. put a battery on it and everything electrical wise worked 1st time 100% no wiggles required!

I bought this car from a good friend that purchased a few from the said barn to offset a purchase of an old renault! I had 2 schools of thought when I bought it. 100% restoration would see it being the only one in England that year and model being a £10k plus car all day long. or someone in the car show world wanting a tax exempt classic to customise true to its original form and blow everyone away with a few exist in Europe and there generally winning lots of trophies! Also this car in Germany would be twice the price! should of left it in Belgium as most enquires are overseas!

Its a really honest car the pictures do not do it justice at all! the audi coupe club of great britian president popped to see the car and was impressed. genuine buyers only no timewasters wanting swaps or "if I had the money" dreamers! The right person with the time and skill or funds for outside help will turn this round easy!
