1998 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500

Lets just start by saying this is an amazing truck and you can forget about it disappointing anyone. it is exactly what you would hope to find when driving to look or pick it up. It has 100% all of it's original black paint in pristine condition. Not only was it garage stored. when not driven it was absent of sunlight while sitting there as well.  I bought this truck from a gentleman relative of the (1) original owner.  I own it personally but I am an Indiana licensed Car Dealer and it is consigned to my lot. This offers a bit of flexibility in how the transaction is managed. We are a very small family operation with 16 to 20 late model low mileage cars at a time.  Back to the truck. I took almost 80 pictures and thought I could list them all so my format is a bit off since I took so many detail pictures and not enough stand back type shots. So please read the full ad and let me know if you need to see something else.  I purchased it with the intention of keeping it but proper storage is always in too short of supply to keep all the neat stuff you find as you go along so it is regretfully now for sale.  I will say in advance the I am aware of only (3) flaws (2) of them are pin head sized paint chips. literally 1/16" or smaller pin head sized. one on the middle left bed side and the other on the tailgate. The third is some garage entering scrapes on the passenger side mirror and does need the mirror painted to be fixed correctly. For the rest of the truck there is nothing more than superficial little lines in the paint that are likely from washing and everyone could be correctable with a polish and detail. I have chosen to not do any of the above fixes or modifications as well as not removing the original camper shell as I would want to receive it just the way it was left by the original owner and not all car dealer doctored up for a sale. I just think it best to let the final new owner make these decisions and proceed as he or she sees fit. This truck has not even been cleaned up aside from a couple of touch-less car washes and I did go around it and remove some sloppy wax residue with a soft brush and microfiber towel. The lack of soiling that you see in the engine compartment is it's life time accumulation total of what has landed in there aside from where I can see a bit of wiping on the core support and upper shroud. Some will ask if the exhaust or tires have been replaced and the answer is no. they still both look new. and it is just that nice and original. No marks or cracks or anything on the interior. and original mats are in place. No tint no smoking no add on's or trinkets either. This truck had the shell installed when new and there is a foam pad underneath the plastic bed liner to protect the paint so I am assuming the bed is about flawless under there other than the little white marks made by the plastic liner on the rear most edge where it curls down at the tailgate beyond the foam protector.  Truck was rust protection treated by a company in the Indianapolis area multiple times in it's life I was told. It appears as an even and lite undercoat and you might can see where a car wash has pealed it off a bit from the main frame rails below the cab area in pictures. this also shows on the firewall and visible on the corner of a plastic reservoir on the passenger side under the hood.
