Up for auction is a 1970 Triumph TR-6. The car has low 74. 70 miles on the odometer and is a true numbers matching car. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding.  This is you chance to get a straight forward Triumph TR6 well below the current market value. This is probably the best deal this year on Ebay for a Triumph TR6 and she is selling this week to the highest / last bidder.    Heritage: This is a rare true numbers matching car and you can order a British Heritage Certificate from England or I can do it for you.  The cars commission date was March 1970. commission number is CC 53117 U and the engine number is CC 53245 E.   Mechanicals:  The car runs fine and was just serviced including New spark plugs. nbsp; new ignition wires. new distributor cap. new rotor button. new air filters. oil change and new oil filter. Also. last week the front brake system was completely gone through which included New front brake calipers ( powder coated black with stainless steel pistons ). new front brake rotors. new front brake hoses and new front brake pads ( all items are new and not rebuilt ones ).  In the past year or so other items that where installed included  new radiator. radiator cap. new thermo stat. some new coolant hoses. new voltage regulator. new ignition coil. nbsp;new battery installed and a new duel exhaust system.
Exterior: The car shows well in the photos and presents herself well in person and is remarkably straight as seen in the photos.  As you can see the pain is a bit weak in some areas.  I believe the paint could be buffed out to the next level but its all about what the new owner would what in the car in the long run.  Car sits evenly and squarely on the ground with no visible signs of leaning or sagging. The panel fit is very nice and the front and rear lower valances are in great condition.  I could have buffed the car out but felt it might give bidders the wrong impression and that they would think it was a show car being sold at some ridiculously low price.  Note the Michelin Redline "X" tires which are correct for the car and are in  good condition. Also. the front windshield was recently replaced and the door glass is in good condition. Electrical's: This area is in good overall condition. Only thing I'm aware of is that the hazard switch does not work and the blower fan works from time to time ( not sure if it's a the switch or a faulty connection ).   Gauges: All gauges are correct and original  "Smith" brand and appear to be in working order.   Interior: The interior is well average condition as seen in the photos. I do have the original Triumph logo seat belts that are in good condition and come with the car.   Soft Top: The soft is in overall good condition but not perfect.   Trunk: The trunk is rock solid as seen in the photo.   Underbody: The underbody is in good condition for an unmolested 47 year old car.  The frame and floors look dry and look original  with no visible signs of repairs.  I'm not an expert on this stuff so ask for more photos if you need them. If I've missed anything it was not my intention so please ask your questions prior to bidding   Shipping:   If you need to have the car shipped to your location here in the states you can get a fast and free online quote from Able Auto Transport at:  http://www. ableautotransport. com/
Overseas Bidders: Yes the auction is open to overseas bidders. The auction is open to overseas bidders and if you need to ship overseas try  Schumacher Cargo Logistics shipping for fast free quotes (  http://www. schumachercargo. com/  ).     In Closing: The above description is my observations and opinions and they very from person to person so ask all questions prior to bidding.  If I have missed anything in the cars description it was not my intention so please ask for as much detail as you need to make an informed decision  on the car prior to bidding.  Don't want the winning bidder saying afterwards well you missed this or that. Be a responsible bidder and ask all questions prior to bidding. This is a 47 year old car and is not perfect.   I'm not an expert and my opinion of the car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information or the extra photos I have available please ask prior to bidding. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see and drive the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. Due to the cars age and having no way to warranty the car I'm selling her as in "as is" condition and due to her age mileage exempt. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end.
