Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.1) based on 118 votes

This vehicle is an Asset Seized vehicle being sold through the Roseville Police Department on behalf of the State of California.   The vehicle belonged to an interstate marijuana drug trafficker before it was collected by the police department.   I am a police officer. not a car salesman so I will make the best attempt to describe the vehicle.   I make no commission on the sale of the vehicle and my only responsibility is to try to sell the vehicle for as much as the market demands.   The government gets all the money from this sale.

RPD has had this vehicle since late September 2015.   It has been stored. outdoors. in the Roseville Storage yard.   It has periodically been run while in police custody.   As far as I can tell. everything works on the car.   The tires all hold air and there were no fluids underneath it as it sit in our storage yard.   Overall. the car appears to be in really good shape except for a few scratches to some of the paint on the outside (refer to pictures).   The interior is all intact except for a hatch in the cargo area that covers where the flat tire equipment is kept.   The hatch does not appear to be broken but it does not stay up.   As for odors. there does not appear to be any unusual odors coming from inside.   The service engine light is on.   I have no idea why but the car seems to run fine and drive straight.

The purchaser of this vehicle will have to deal with the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).   In order for you to drive this vehicle off of the police storage lot. you will need to be present to meet me at the PD and go to the DMV to register it in your name.   I will accompany you to our DMV to help facilitate this.   If you live out of state. you will be required to get a 1 day transport from DMV. unless you are trucking it out.   If that is the case. you will need to register the vehicle in your state before I let you have.   Please don't ask me how that works in your state because every state handles these differently and I only know California law.   If you are registering this vehicle in California. you will probably be required to pay sales tax so be prepared for that.   Additionally. they might make you pay to register the vehicle (including late fees).   To be honest. they usually waive that fee but they might not so that cost will be on you.   I do not know if they will make you smog it but if they do. they typically give you 30 days to complete it.   I have no idea if it will pass smog. but it was previously registered in California which means it did pass at some point.
