History. /p>

On the 18th of April 1982 this gorgeous piece of kit was delivered brand new to a Mr Remington of Huddersfield.   Since then it has covered 138k miles which is not a lot for a 32 year old car. however this is backed up by a fantastic Porsche service history. Its got every service stamp in the original service book and also comes with a huge history folder documenting thousands of pounds that have been spent on it through the years. and also in recent times. Its all matching numbers chassis # WP0ZZZ91ZCS141038 Engine # 63C2929

This 82 model SC is a 204bhp version and it actually is extremely powerful. and has a fantastic engine with lots of torque.  5 years ago this baby was the subject of a bare metal respray and was fitted with two new Porsche wings. The 911 SC is a Porsche that is on the rise. Prices are clearly moving up dramatically if you watch the market place. it is so hard to find one that is original and has not been messed with. and also hard to find one that has a service history from new. A good service history proves that each owner the car has had. has taken pride in it and treated it with respect.  There is a 190 point inspection report with the car. done with Peter Morgan consulting which shows a very Positive result. and everything was given the thumbs up! Peter Morgan is a well know Porsche expert and is a writer for 911 and Porsche World magazine.

Mechanical. /p>

A full gearbox rebuild was completed 1000 miles ago and is fitted with a short shift kit. it is one of the best operating 915 boxes  I have ever used. there is an invoice here for £1500 for the rebuild. The engine is 110% it drives like a dream and has no oil leaks or smoke or any rattles. All the brakes where refurbished recently too with one caliper being replaced with a new one. All suspension and steering is as tight as a vice and it performs fantastic on the open road. Most Targas are very flexy and noisy but this one drives really tight and it feels like a coupe when on the road. This car will surprise you with how reliable it is and how nice it drives. There is no leaks on the exhaust and the heat exchangers where renewed a few thousand miles ago so there is lots of cold and warm air coming into the cabin as the heating system actually works!

Interior. /p>

The interior is in excellent condition. the carpets where renewed and the seats reupholstered in blue leatherette which look fantastic with the blue bodywork. It really looks neat and tidy inside with no moldy or damp smell. the cabin is bone dry. Electric windows work very strong. which is rare! All the clocks work. except for the oil level clock. it seems to move around a bit.

Body. /p>

This baby was given a bare metal body restoration 5 years ago and it received 2 new wings from Porsche. and was painted in an oven. and the paint is perfect. All the body seals and bumper bellows and trim pieces where all replaced with new items. I have a full Photographic history of the restoration. The structure of the bodyshell is mint. the floor. sills. kidneys. door shuts. inner guards. front panel are showing no corrosion nor any welding of any kind. The shell is also not sprayed underneath with stone chip or any other type of under sealant. most times people spray this on to hide corrosion. The floor is as it was delivered when new. There is a couple of tiny bubbles on the scuttle panel below the wind screen and a small bit of bubbling on the sill near the sill cover. I got a quote of £350 from a body shop to fix this. Apart from this the body is mint.

Wheels. /p>

The best looking most iconic wheel on the planet! 16” Fuchs all round and in very good condition. and a polished lip to set them off. Also good tyres all round!

Overview.

Bottom line is that this is a gorgeous. very original and unmolested little 911 that drives like a dream and is very reliable. there is no restoration work to do. its just a matter of jumping into it and your having fun right away. Most 911s out there can break your heart. and your bank balance! They look like a bargain but once you realise what you have let yourself in for. you discover you have to spend another £4k to put the car right. trust me I've been there! This car does not need a gearbox rebuild. does not need oil leaks fixed. does not need an exhaust. does not need a smokey engine rebuilt. does not need a bunch of electrical problems fixed. and the list goes on and on! She is just an honest. original. reliable. solid little Porsche that will provide you with summer fun. or a daily driver that's guaranteed to make you look the the coolest dude in town! Whats cooler than a 911?
