For sale classic Jensen Inteceptor - 55. 68 miles. genuine mileage. This has been our summer car for the last for last 8 years . It is stored from October to May and then fully serviced each year at a mopar and classic car specialist – Faithful Motors in Huntingdon NY.

I'm selling to buy my other dream car  - a Porsche Targa and my wife won't let me keep 2 classic cars.

Finished in the original fawn with full brown leather interior. A stunning combination. Car is a great running daily driver car – is in very good condition but is not a show car.

The Jensen runs and drives superbly and will give the new owner many years of enjoyment. Good condition for the age. remarkable value for money and a great future investment.

Work I have done includes

·         upgrading the radiator fans to Bosch and having the radiator recored – car runs cool.

·         Brakes discs replaced

·         Converted AC to R134a – ac runs well

·         Front seats have been recovered

·         CD player added to run thru original lear jet radio

·         Front shocks replaced

·         I have had the sills redone at the wheel arches

·         Alloy wheels refinished.

Known issues

·         Fluid for power steering leaks – I fill it once a summer and is fine but was next on my list of things to do.

·         The central locking and the electric fuel cap release don't work but amazingly everything else electrical does even the clock – though it loses time. I tried to have it replaced w a quartz movement but the clock specialist said the original movement was beautiful and refused to change it!

·         The passenger side interior lamp doesn't work

·         The handbrake doesn't work

·         Bodywork is generally very good – a little faded on the bonnet and the roof – I think it must have been resprayed once before I got it  and there are some minor chips and cracks which I've tried to photograph but are very hard to see.

·         The radio was new original out of the box replacement for the original lear jet but the 8 track doesn't seem to work. As I have the CD player it didn't  matter too much to me – but if you were looking forward to playing your 8 track collection may be disappointing.

·         The veneer on the central dash is cracked and peeling.
