For sale is a 1962  Corvette convertible.  I am listing this car for my mother-in-law. I'm not a corvette expert but will tell you what I know about the car. We do have the title. It does not have The original engine or transmission in the car.  We do have the original engine block and other parts on a pallet.    I had a  local mechanic that is familiar with old Corvettes look at the car. He said the transmission is not original because it has an aluminum housing.  He said the frame is in great condition.  The chrome had some pitting And rust. Some  repaired fiberglass damage behind the drivers front fender. The paint is not perfect. has peeling areas. The soft top is all there and in decent decent shape. The car was last registered for the street in 2012 and had been in the garage since.  I attempted to start it by putting a new battery in it. the  starter clicked one time and then no activity after that. I know the car ran just a few years ago when it was put in the garage. let me know if you have any questions I will do my best to answer.  
 The car is located in southern New Hampshire. if you would like to come take a look before bidding contact me to set up an appointment I would be happy to show it to you.  The car is being sold in "as is" "as seen " condition.  no warranties or guarantees and I will not  except a return. Buyer must arrange for pick up from current location within 14 days after auction end. A non refundable deposit of $2000. is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remaining payment is due within 4 days of end of auction. Car is advertised locally. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime.  Happy Bidding!

We are told by other ebay members that the engine on the pallet is not the original. It maybe a 1968/1974 engine.
