Up for auction is one very nice and fast 1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk with Paxton Supercharger. My friend and Doctor who loves Studebakers has decided to sale his little Coupe that he has been meticulously restoring for the past 11 years.  (it has it all) New White Satin Pearl paint over very nice. no rust and straight body painted in 2015.  The car is originally from the dry central Washington aria near Prosser. so no rust at all. Dr. Dan bought the car from a college student in Lewiston. ID in 2005.  The student got it as a gift from his grandpa in Prosser. It had been in grandpa's barn for at least ten years. but it ran. He drove it to Lewiston to go to College. When Dr. Dan bought the car. the speedo showing 31. 60 miles. the car now has 36. 23 showing.  The Engine is a 1955 President 289 bored . 40 over with Paxton Supercharger. The engine has been blueprinted by well known Studebaker enthusiast John Erb. and built to what he calls an "R two and a half" . not quite an R3.  Custom Engine parts are from Lionel Stone. It has Avanti exhaust manifolds. chrome air box. pulleys H20 pump. Avanti water manifold and valve covers. John Erb also designed the camshaft for the "R2 and a half". (this car runs very strong with it's Supercharged and built engine) The transmission is a modern T5 Mustang 5 Speed with adapter plate and new clutch. 10. 4" Center Force. The gears combination is the lowest possible low gear. and highest possible overdrive 5th gear.  (great combination for both acceleration and cursing) The rear end is the stock Dana Positraction. (called "Twin Traction") Exhaust is dull Turbo mufflers with 2 1/2" pipes full length. The car has the bigger radiator with electric fan for cooling and it dose stay cool.  All new brakes and brake parts stop the car and this Studebaker drives as nice as it looks. (very smooth with lots of power. and it is fun) A new windshield has been installed and all window rubbers have bean replaced. window meconium's have been reworked so side windows roll up and down as they should. The bumpers and small grills have been re plated. all other stainless and chrome is nice.  The undercarriage has been cleaned and sandblasted then repainted. The engine compartment also has had a complete repaint and it shows well. The interior is mostly original with new carpeting from Studebaker International and a set of leather power front buckets from a Audi A6. The rear seat is also from the Audi A6. Dash has the Stewart Warner & Stewart Warner Wing gages and dash work and pad shows well. I'm listing this beautiful Studebaker for my friend and will take all questions to him. Buyer is responsible for shipping and shipping costs. We will help with loading on our end and in anyway we can. For your questions please call Bill (208)750-0000
