LOTUS ELAN SPRINT DHC for sale

This is a genuine elan sprint dhc. This is confirmed by the chassis number. engine number and body number. it was built in august 1971

It was purchased by the second owner in 1975 from Len street garages. /span>

The car was then driven for 2 years by a lady owner and then parked in a garage for the next 36 years!

The sprint has only covered 46k miles on the clock which we believe is genuine. the running in sticker is still in place!

The engine runs and is on standard bore

The car is complete and has never been molested or restored. both the engine and chassis have never been removed

The car is now in need of a full restoration and requires a new lotus chassis. the interior is good and the car is completely original. other than the screen washer pump all rare parts intact.

The colour is rare  Colorado orange and compliments the sprint superbly. it will look fantastic restored

With excellent restored sprints fetching over 50k this is an ideal restoration project and investment

The car can be viewed by appointment

Telephone Neil on 01604644982 or deryck on 07802387405 to view

Winning bidders must pay and collect the car on a trailer within 5 days

Only serious bids from serious enthusiast please

A new V5 has been applied for from the DVLA which will accompany the vehicle

Hi I'm interested and would love to see it but don't believe I'm allowed to travel down from Cheshire at the moment?

Apart from a new chassis I expect it will need a complete engine rebuild. Anything else you know about?

With a reasonable discount I could consider buying it unseen?

Cheers
John
