A quick note to read first!

I'm fed up with eBay's inherent problem of non-paying bidders.

I sold a car recently for the winner only to tell me now he had won my car he was going to list his car on eBay and could not pay me even a deposit until he had sold his.

You see many adverts with people threatening to give you bad feedback. get you banned and take you to court - you bid to buy etc

these statements are just making the seller look bad. and let's face it if your making those statements it is often a reflection on your behaviour - people in glass houses I believe the expression.

eBay are the only winners. they get their money for listing and relisting and they don't even pay their taxes.

So I'm trying a different approach to see if this works. hence what you are now reading!

I'm listing my things on a buy it now. you can buy it without viewing at the asking price. but its instant payment in the settings.

or you are more than welcome to do the old fashioned thing of coming to see the car and taking it for a test drive if appropriate.

I have complete faith that the price is market value and the car is as described.

I am not a car trader but I have been in the past. I have worked on cars for more than 25 years but the past ten have been in design and manufacturing of kit cars.

then concepts and now I do only custom builds for a TV show. my sons illness mean I will never be able to work properly again as he needs constant intensive care way beyond leaving his mother to cope

and meaning I do not have the time to chase people into completing.

Why it's for sale…

Simple it was bought to feature in the TV series I am involved in.

We had to buy a car and turn it around for a profit. this car was bought to sell to Italy or Poland if possible and be filmed heading out to its new owner to introduce a international element to our story.

We've done the jobs on it we needed to do.

it had a starting issue and had been in storage for about a year so it was serviced. a fresh MOT put on it and the electrical fault found and fixed. apart from that it is as we found it.

The buyer will have the opportunity of being filmed and appearing on the show should they wish to participate.

About the car…

FSH with a huge file of bills. receipts. old mot's. with the rare addition of full workshop manuals (in English) original handbooks. and even sales brochures making this an ideal addition to a collector or enthusiast owner. Owned by a doctor this car wanted for nothing all its life and lived in London since 2001 having originally been in Germany possibly with the same owner?

A very rare car with just 3226 Kappa Coupes being built with some 1933 versions being fitted with the 5 cylinder 2. 0ltr engine and Lancia history books indicating only 499 20v Turbos were built.

Never officially imported into the UK and only available as LHD this is an ideal car if you own a property abroad and want a good usable classic. or if you are looking at this advert from overseas then we are happy to assist and possibly deliver to any location worldwide.

The Kappa was the large luxury saloon produced to replace the Lancia Thema during the 1990's making it very rare in the UK. it was supplied to both Italian and Poland both using them as government official cars. It is based on the same floorpan as the Alfa Romeo 166 so parts are easily available worldwide and in the UK.

Finished in stunning metallic Energy Blue with lovely Panna (cream) full leather interior.

This car is the top of the range model fully loaded with the following extras.

Factory fitted Sat Nav

Air con (requires re-gassing)

CD auto changer

Full airbags including side seat airbags

Still fitted with all the original equipment radio with nothing having been altered.

It comes with a very impressive and complete history file with two folders worth of bills & receipts. a fully stamped service book. old mot certificates and tax discs. It also comes with the original handbooks in English and reproductions of the full factory workshop manuals also in English.

The bodywork is in good condition requiring only minor detailing work. a small dent on the very bottom section of the right door that could repair without paint. a few stonechips and the usual age related marks.

About buying the car…

Your more than welcome to come and drive the car if you bring your licence and insurance. or can drive it around the farm that my workshop is one to be sure before purchase as I have no issues with my advert or the car and believe it will serve you well. this is an advert it is not an extensive detailed report and it is a guide for you to base your decision on not a sales contract. you can have it inspected by any person or agency before purchase should you want a second opinion or not be car minded yourself.

I can have the car delivered for £1 per mile (calculated one way) in the UK or worldwide at cost plus £250 arrangement and port delivery fees.

Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm someone will always be there if I am not available.

outside of these times I will need to meet you by appointment as it is 1. 5hrs from hospital or 30 mins from home depending where I am.

and everyone does like to do a deal including me but saying "my mate brought me over and I need to buy him some KFC on the way home. have you seen how big he is its going to cost me a fortune"

whilst amusing is not a reason!!!

Full cleared payment before the car leaves. bank transfer preferred. cash on collection is fine other methods taken so long as it doesn't incur costs to me

I don't really want any part exchanges but will consider them only if it is in my favour to do so and within eBay rules.
