Here is a fine 1972 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.   I truly don't want to sell this car because it took me a while to finally get this Rolls.   It is one of the best RRs I have ever owned and that speaks volumes since I have had 5 RRs and all have been extremely nice examples.

Exterior is White. Interior is Tan leather with signature black dash and wood grain. This car is loaded with all of the options including: Factory power windows. CD player Power Steering. Power Brakes. Power Seats. Tinted Windows. Air Conditioning and Heat.   This RR has had many upgrades and has everything needed to be a reliable and useable Rolls Royce.

Some of the upgrades are as follows.   The braking system has been converted to a regular master cylinder and booster.   Gone are the accumulators. valve bodies. rat trap etc.   It has a conventional floor mounted booster and master cylinder.   The master cylinder is made by GM.   Easy to source.   No more $5K brake services.   All of the hard brake lines are brand new and so are the front flexible brake lines.   The calipers were rebuilt back in December and work great.   The brakes stop great and the pedal is high and works properly.   I haven't had any problems with the brakes at all.   Much more reliable than the stock RR brakes and much cheaper to maintain.

It also has a GM high output Alternator.   The ignition has been converted to an electronic ignition.   Points are gone.   It now has a Crane ignition system and a Crane coil.   This is a system you never have to worry about.   It always starts right up.   Just turn the key and it fires up instantly.   Rear shocks have been converted also.   The self leveling suspension is gone and it rides great.   Rear shocks have less than 1000 miles on them.

The engine runs very smooth and has plenty of power.   It leaks some oil but other than that it is excellent. The carbs were rebuilt 4 years ago and don't leak.   Radiator was rebuilt 4 years ago also.   Transmission shifts perfectly and it has approx. 10K miles on its rebuild.

The car has approx. 75K miles on it.   It has a new speedometer that broke last year.

The interior is tan Connolly leather.   The interior is in good used condition for a car of this vintage.   The seat bottoms have covers over them b/c they have many tears and need to be redone.   The backs are in decent condition. The headliner is in above average condition and isn't sagging.   The only problem with the headliner is back by the rear windshield where it leaked at one point.  The wood has quite a few lacquer cracks in various places including the door panels and on the gauge trim indicative of an older Rolls.   The power front seats work.

The exterior paint shows well for its age.   It has good shine but in my opinion is good driver quality.   I would rate it a 7 out of 10.   It does have a various little nicks and scratches.    All the exterior lights work. This includes both directionals and brake lights. back-up lights and headlights. CD player works properly.  The top is pretty much brand new.   It was replaced a few years ago and done right.   The rear windshield was removed to put the new top on.   All glass is in good shape with the exception of the front windshield as it does have a crack in it between the driver and passenger at the bottom.

All of the gauges work not including the speedometer.   The air conditioning has been converted to R134a and it works great.   It blows very cold.

The tires are in very good condition.   They are Coker Bias Ply Whitewalls.   All 4 are matching Coker tires.

This car has been driven and used plus it is over 41 year old so please expect some scratches or imperfections in the paint.  This is   great driving RR that can be driven often.   I use it 3-4 times per week.   Everyone who sees this car loves it.   I have had a ton of compliments on this vehicle.

I'm wanting to change over to brake system you used on your beautiful car. How difficult was it to get a master cylinder and booster to fit? Did you have to change rotors? I have too many questions but all information and help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.
