For sale is my lovely glitter green beach buggyThis is a 1970 GP2 buggy body on a shortened beetle floorpan. it has been done to a very high standard and the floor pan then went through a full blasting and repaint so no rust issues at all Then a full new set of shocks where fitted all the bushes have been replaced with poly bushes. and with refurbished brakes all round discs on front. drums on rear. then all the brake hoses have been replaced with copper and new master cylinder  The rear hubs been machined so that new  16x10 rear 5SP steel wheels from a company called extreme offset and brand new HUGE rear tires that look amazing and fill the arches great. and then a matching set of smaller fronts to make it sit just as it should! The hole wiring loom is a brand new from machine 7. then modified to fit the buggy (loom is for a beetle so bit long in places and also dont inc earth runs because of body) so there should not be any of the electrical problems associated with classic cars  The engine is a 1500 twin webber carb unit. she also has a brand new EMPI buggy exhaust that exits right up behind the buggy although no silencer as such it has a silencer insert. its not quiet but then who wants quiet in a glitter green buggy! (i will tell you about importance of that in a second) i also fitted is alloy rocker covers and gold tinwork. alloy crank pulley and k&n style air filters. loads can be done with the engine bright work if wanted in the future but i just liked the classic look. i also fitted a clear distributor so you can see it spinning and sparking as engine runs! Now the reason for the exhaust. with in the wiring loom i have fitted a flamer kit! Its a separate ignition system and once running will shoot flames and pop and bang! I have inc a video of it doing its party trick.
Sorry have to copy and paste this link as for some reason not aloud to use links

The seats in the car are also brand new and i think look perfect for the age of the car. also all lights. switches everything is either new or refurbished to as new condition. this is no project this is a full running turn key car. you can just jump in and go. its been moted with no advisories and the inspector who has moted for many years commented that its the cleanest one he has ever seen and looks amazing. on the rollers the brake test performed way past what would be expected and could not fault it I have used classic mini cooper clocks that fit in the dash nice and don't complicate the controls. only 5 switches on the small aluminium dash side lights. dipped lights. main beam. flamer kit. and horn. the horn of which is of corse a full set of 5 horns playing dukes of hazard tune (well why not aye) I have tried to keep the buggy looking a simple and un-cluttered as i possibly can and keeping its 70s appearance. so i have chosen not to add the common roll bar and hood. these can be added if wanted and companies sell these for not to bad prices. i would advise it if you plan to carry passengers. as for that a seat can be made for the rear if need be but its only ever carried me and my son for only the 10miles i have driven her for (just stuck to local drives around town) The only thing that you might wish to add is rev counter. i have not connected it as originally there was not going to be one so the single wire it needs is not wrapped in the loom but if you want this added i can do it if price is right All in all its a beautiful buggy thats ready to hit the road. the prices on these are on the rise and if you really want to be seen there is no better way than a Glitter green beach buggy that shoots flames out of the back!!!  Insurance is super cheap. i pay less that £120 a year and tax is of corse FREE! So not expensive to keep for that perfect sunny day out!
Just replaced sump/filter seals and rocker bolt washers as well
Any questions please contact me and i will answer soon as i possibly can. also any extra pictures you require just ask!
I will be taking her out for a few last drives and will take some pictures if theres any good opportunities
Now for the boring bitUnfortunately there is some complete waste of space people out there bidding and buying cars then not turning up or just generally being a pain in the ass. so because of this a mandatory deposit will have to be sent via paypal of £100 on purchase of the car. until then the offer will not be accepted Although the car is drivable i advise you get it recovered so you can get used to driving it in your own time. it is a 46 year old car after all and may take time to get used to the back to basics driving experience Hope it sparks some interest in someone out there and hope to find it a loving new home!
P. S. !!! Well i had this up for sale and had loads of intrest and a few offers! I accepted an offer from a guy who came to see the car. he wanted a few gaskets changed on sump which i did and said he would come to take the car middle to late part of week. even asked for mesurements to check it will fit in his garage. then wile trying to arrange he ignored my calls and msgs. which seemed odd so gave him deadline. still no reply. basicly changed his mind but decided to be a dick about it so now got my back up about listing it so i wont be giving any time for idiots. if you want it you have to pay deposit. no exceptions. none at all. i hope there is at least one decent person out there and you may be one of them but idiots like this ruin it for everyone so got to be strict on it.  And for any of you keeping an eye on listings as you are selling your own buggy dont accept offers from NICMART35 it will only be him pickin apart your car and faking a sale. have been warned!!!
Good luck people!!!
