2008 BMW Z4

103. xx miles – my daily driver so will increase a little.  Excellent condition. well maintained. selling to accommodate new baby.   I searched for a long time to find a Z4 that had all the options… this car has both the Premium package and the Sport package.   The highlights are:

·         Full leather and brushed aluminum finish

·         18 inch bolted star spoke alloys

·         Sport suspension

·         Dynamic driving control (sport button)

·         Fully automatic roof. in contrast color.   Power roof works perfectly with no leaks.

·         8 way power seats. with 3 way driver's seat memory; heated seats

·         Xenon lights

·         GPS/computer

History

I bought this car in December 2015 from Northside Imports LLC with just under 99. 00 miles on the clock and had it shipped to Houston where I registered and titled it (I have the blue title in hand. no lien).   Before I bought the car I had a pre-purchase inspection carried out by PVPPI. which showed no major issues; I can share the report if interested.   Northside Imports said they bought the car from Virginia Beach. so it has not been run in winter conditions and does not suffer from any rust issues.

Maintenance

I have spent a chunk of money getting this car how I wanted it. with work done at Modern Aircooled in Houston.  Here is what I've done since I bought it (receipts available for most):

·         New windshield

·         New battery (Bosch premium performance)

·         New rear tires (Michelin Pilot Super Sport)

·         New wiper blades

·         New rotors (EBC Brakes. dimpled and slotted)

·         New brake pads (Hawk HPS 5. 0)

·         Brake fluid flush

·         Oil change

·         Swapped antenna for short stubby one (I have the original)

Things to note

·         TPMS light is on (and has been since I bought the car). however the tire pressures are fine.   I think this is due to a faulty TPMS sensor in one of the front tires. as when I replaced the rear tires and sensors. it remained on and would not clear.   So. when you change the front tires you will need to change the sensors (~$15 each) and I expect that will clear the light.

·         There is a scratch by the gas cap that has been badly touched-up (by the previous owner!). but is not very noticeable.

·         There are quite a few stone chips in the front bumper and hood. but nothing unusual for a car of this age/mileage.

·         There's a bit of wear to the leather on the bolster on the driver's seat.

·         The little piece of plastic on the driver's seat belt that holds seat belt clip at the right height is missing and I've not got round to fixing it; this is a $3 part and easy fix.

·         After I dropped the car key. the auto-unlock can be a little temperamental – a new key would fix this if it bothers you.

·         The car is currently fitted with an aftermarket stainless steel gear shifter as shown in the pictures – this is not included in the sale. and I will reinstall the original BMW one.

·         If you want the car shipped. I will work with your shipper (buyer to pay cost of shipping).
