This 1974 Thing has been substantially upgraded from stock for on road and off road use. The motor is a very strong 2080 CC and was recently built by the previous owner a VW expert in Georgia. In addition he upgraded the suspension with Jensen components. The Thing is in great condition and is perfect for off-road desert driving and on road cruising as well. The body has a fresh paint job but includes some minor chips. We have parts for both the windshield wipers and parking brake. just not installed.  As you can see from the pictures body has a roll cage and contoured front seats. Also included is a new EMPI exhaust system that is much quieter than the stinger which is currently in place. If you are looking for a quality Thing capable of both off road and on road use this is your ticket. The starting bid is $12. 00 which is substantially below the cost to duplicate with all the upgrades shown in the photos. The Thing is located in Calabasas. California and available for a test drive.
