Reliant Scimitar GTC Convertible,Hard Top,Original Paintwork,Recent New Hood

Welcome to the viewing of one of my classic GTC Reliant Scimitars (I have two).

This one was registered and has lived its whole cossetted life in Wales. its V6 3. 0 litre engine was totally stripped and rebuilt a few years ago by Robin Rew. so runs of unleaded petrol.

The soft top has been replaced and the car is always stored indoors. obviously. it also comes with a hard top which has a heated rear window. ince in my ownership it has been on the car once (when I collected it) and stored ever since.

I have changed the steering wheel for a more eye enticing sporty alloy/leather type and really looks the part and feels lovely.

The paint is totally original which first drew me to the car. the boot lid itself does have mild crazing so would itself benefit from a repaint. therwise the car is pretty damned good for its age.

Its a manual and has overdrive on 3rd and 4th. obviously has its 5 woolfrace wheels which are brilliant and well polished. tyres are as new. it also benefits the standard Genuine Lucas spot lights ( which work ) complete with original covers.

Stainless Steel Exhausts and with the V6 Burble. you'll be in heaven.

Pulls like the preverbial train.

Starts first time every time. has been run every other month or so since not being on the road (presently on sorn) but regularly gets driven up an down the private lane on our land.

It does need a new handbrake cable for the MOT. No. dont have the time or inclination to get it done and down to an MOT station and I will not tax it. so will need trade plates. r we can deliver it for you. AT COST.

I might be interested in selling both of my GTC's the other is red and very low mileage. ut has been totally professionally resprayed by an ex employee of the American "Overhauling" television programme and now has GLEAMING body work like it should be. like GLASS(FIBRE). You can imagine how they look together in the garage. gorgeous!. But I have moved on and gone more modern sporty classic and purchased an immaculate ultra low mileage V8 Jag and a BMW B10 Alpina. so. before the wife leaves me. one or two have to go. so this listing is for the white GTC in the image. I do have some more recent images.

By all means pop over (by appointment) and have a nose at it. you'll not be dissapointed if you are after a GTC.

Not many of these ladies about now. especially the convertible GTC. even Princess Anne cant afford the soft top. I got two!. so could you.
