This ad is for my 1968 GTO.   It has a 242 vin and yes it is a real GTO.   It was my dads car before I bought it.   The car is in great shape.   It has a 400 and a 3 speed automatic.   I am not sure if it is posi or of the gear ratio. but if you check out the YouTube videos that I reference below you can see it in action.   The paint is in excellent shape as well as the interior.   The engine compartment is dusty and the under carriage is dirty but not oily.   Don't get me wrong a little bit of cleaning and the motor and under carriage would be as pretty as the paint and interior.   We drive this GTO everywhere and anywhere.    I thought it better for people to see it as it is rather than dolled up and not know what your getting.   She sits in our local shows and cruises with the hood up and it gets lots of complements. This car is very pretty and very reliable.   The motor was rebuilt 1 year prior to dad buying it.   It has a nice cam with a good idol.   You can hear it in the video.   I know it has roller rockers and I do have  a picture of them installed if you would like to see them.   We put a new Holley avenger on it a couple of months ago.   All tune up and maintenance has been done.   The car needs nothing.   Get in and go have fun.   Your right foot determines how much fun you will have.   The videos that I reference were taken by my wife and let just say they could be better.   But they do give you a good look at paint. exhaust sound and a half pedal take off.   The passenger headlight door has been aligned. you will notice it was a little low in the video.   Look at the pictures and you will see it sits as it should.  The interior is in great shape.   I have put a radio in the glove box so that the dash stayed original.   It has a remote so you can control it from the drivers seat when your riding solo.   I added redundant gauges below the dash but the ones in the dash worked prior to me changing the sending units to the lower dash gauges.   Fuel gauge and lights all work as they should including dome light.   Even the clock works.   Power antenna works but the up/down switch is finicky.   Goes up great have to play with switch to make it go down.   I very rarely put it up. radio comes in just perfect.   Tires are in great shape.   The car drives excellent. free of rattles. shakes or funny noises.   I think this car has a great cool factor and it is hard to drive it without thumbs up or shout of "Hey cool car".   If you want a trailer queen this is not it.   If you want a tried and true go have fun GTO that looks and runs great then this is the one your looking for.   I have other muscle cars but this one seems to be the one we drive the most.   Time for a change but I don't need to sell it so no lowball offers.   Inspections are encouraged but there will be no joy rides.   Feel free to call with any questions to 407-949-7097.   I feel like I could type pages about this car but this ad already seems very long. so just send and email or give a call.   No later than 10PM eastern standard time.   You tube address are https://youtu. be/ddc6JIAvAUA and https://youtu. be/RXNx8rlZyxg or just type 1968 GTO and use filter uploaded in the last week.   Thanks With the buy it now price I will include a set of bucket seat. console. shifter and shifter cable.   All will need reconditioning. bought them but the bench is so comfortable that I never put them in.   I will also include a used set of front disc brakes.   The car already has power brakes.   All of these parts will be available for sale after the car goes.   I winning bidder does not use buy it now then we can negotiate the parts after sale.

Thank you for all the questions.   Transmission is a turbo 400.   Rear end is a posi. car was converted to an electric fan rather than belt driven.   The car has new coil over springs in the rear.   The exhaust is less than a year old. stickers are still on the tailpipes.   All seat belts are there and work as they should.   All windows roll up and down as they should.   Tach and rear wing were added by my dad.   We have touch up paint and paint code for car.   To find it on YouTube just type in 1968 gto bad55chevy then go to filter and pick last week then short under 4 minutes.   When you find the first video click on bad55chevy on right hand side and it will bring up all the videos.
