I helped a close family friend import this vehicle earlier this year.

Due to recent health issues he will no longer be able to work on this car to level where he wants it.  

We are left with no choice but to sell this vehicle and hopefully have it passed on to a true enthusiast who will appreciate it for what it is and what it could be.  

Please no time wasters as this is a very regretful sale and was to be my friends pride and joy. His plans were to perform a basic cosmetic restoration and enjoy it for this summer.

Good points.

White paint is very good however my friend was planning on a repaint as its not perfect. Very straight body with no dints at all. Engine starts and idles easily when we received the car however it has not been driven here in Australia except for in our back yard. Transmission works and brakes work. Engine sounds fantastic with the dual exhaustInterior is in excellent conditionEngine bay is in fantastic condition. Brand new Dynacorn Nasa hood included still in box. Trunk floor seems solid and originalChrome rear bar in very good conditionDashpad is immaculateTested lights and indicators today and all seem to be workingStandard hood along with nasa hood both included in the sale. Bad Points:

Some small rust around the rear tail lights as shown in the pictures. This complete tail light panel will also be included in this sale so easily fixed for the enthusiast. Front bumper has some paint cracks. White paint done in the United states has a very slight pearl in it. Will appeal to some people but not to others. Has some slight pitting in the paint but only visible up close. Our plans were to repaint this car anyway when the nasa hood was to be installed so ant paint imperfections were to be addressed at that time. A few tiny bubbles in the bottom of the door. Only visible up close. A few tiny bubbles on the bottom of one fender. Only visible up closeDrivers door hinge will need adjustingDrivers side racing mirror control joystick will need repairing. Rear view mirror was broken and in the glove box. Small oil leak under engine. Only noticed a few drops. Probably because has not been driven in a while and seals may be getting hard. Evidence of repair to passengers side door jam near rear quarter panel. Not sure but looks like a sealer has been poorly applied. Should be an easy clean up and fix. Although the tyres have some tread left I am not sure how old they are so there is a possibility they may have to be changed also. The side gutter rail I noticed yesterday has some windscreen sealer or similar in some spots. Only noticed while i was waxing the car and some of it came out in the cloth. It was very easily cleaned of the paintwork however and did not leave any marks. I would say the rear quarter windows has some water leak. Apparently all these fastbacks do that and will probably need new weather strips
If we have missed something we apologise but we have not had the car very long and have not gone through it with a fine tooth comb.

Pick up will be from South eastern suburbs of Melbourne. All costs associated with the collection of the vehicle will be the responsibility of the buyer. We strongly suggest a trailer or tow truck pick up as we have not driven this car on the road and can not determine its road worthiness.

 There will be no warranty. refund or return at all on this vehicle.

We have taken extra care to describe this vehicle to the best of our knowledge including photos however if we have missed anything it is unintentional and we can not be held responsible.

Inspections are welcome and suggested however will only be available by appointment.
