1951 HUDSON 2 DOOR BROUGHAM

Grampas old car is for sale.

This Car was converted to 12 volts many years ago. Although I am not sure of the exact date.

This car has only been used since 1975 to drive in local parades on the fourth of July.

I have taken as many pictures as I can and will be glad to answer any questions that I can. but there is not much I know about cars.

I do know that the oil has been changed regular and the belts and hoses. The tires seem fine to me.

Also I did notice that the passenger rear window has a crack and the windshield. Headlights and tail lights are good.

To everyone looking and bidding on this car I want to apologize for my not knowing much about these cars or any cars for that matter.

I had a question about the paint and if it has overdrive. I found this out: it was repainted sometime around 1975 in the original color

as the doors and that inside match. Also on the dash it says Commodore 8. I did have him check and the engine is a Flat 6.

I don't know how to tell about the overdrive though that was asked and neither did the guy helping me. Nothing on the dash.

The other thing I found in the car was all the original manuals and some paper work to show any work done on it since 1975.

I did look up the vin number and it definitely says that this is a Commodore I don't know why the title say Brougham. Anyway

it doesn't look like they made too many of this model less than 2000. So I hope this helps and answers your questions.

I BELIEVE IT IS UNFAIR TO OTHERS WHO ARE ACTUALLY BIDDING. I DO KNOW IT IS A FAIR AND LOW RESERVE I HAVE ON IT.

I DID A LITTLE RESEARCH AND FOUND OUT THAT THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR WAS CHANGED AFTER SOMEONE

TRIED TO BREAK IN AND ALL THEY COULD FIND WAS A COMMODORE 8 ONE TO REPLACE IT WITH. THAT WAS BEFORE

THE INTERNET. OH AND THE FUEL PUMP WAS UPDATED A FEW YEARS AGO.   I HOPE THIS HELPS EVERYONE.
