Re-Advertised due to total Timewaster (winning bidder wanted six weeks to pay for it)!!

For sale is my highly desirable and VERY RARE  RIGHT HAND DRIVE 1960 VW SPLITSCREEN VAN with Twin side loading doors.   

This is very original and it even has its early 'ice pick' door handles and original factory fitted windows in the side loading doors.

I have owned this for five years  and it was imported from dry South Africa in 2008.

The dashboard is in excellent. original 'un-tampered with' condition. which is very rare for such an early van.   It also has its original front cockpit bench front seat which is also in excellent condition.

Inside the rear it is a blank canvas and ready for you to fit out to your taste and requirements.

The body is very solid and straight. and the underside is in excellent. original condition with very minor repairs.   The engine is very strong and pulls like a train (without the usual oil leaks)! 

The paintwork is very good - however. it would benefit from a very small repair to one engine lid hinge.

12 MONTHS MOT - It has just sailed through the MOT (having only covered 11 miles in the last 12 months and 898 in the last five years)!!

12 MONTHS TAX - Tax exempt.

I have added chrome safari front windows - purchased from Creative Engineering (for those hot summer days).

This would be the ultimate advertising vehicle for your business.
