Despite significant interest this car is still available.
Up for your consideration is a complete Continental MKII for restoration. This is a matching numbers original car from Oceanside in California. I had quite a journey with importing this vehicle. Having seen it for sale as a garage find I asked my friend in San Diego to try and acquire the car. He set off up the coast with his trailer to get it and whilst negotiating the car the sellers brother turned up and said the car wasn't for sale. The brothers had a minor punch up over it and it was eventually decided that my friend could acquire the car. It took him two hours to load it as the tyres were shot and one of the brakes was stuck on.
Anyhow the paperwork was due to follow but it never arrived. We then had to apply for retrospective paperwork. Once we finally got this the car went off to the shippers. I chased them up only to find that they had also lost the paperwork!! Eventually we got new paperwork for the second time and now the car has finally arrived.

This particular car has been stored for decades and I was told that the guy we bought it off inherited the car from his dad who bought it new in 1956. I cannot back this up with evidence but it's what I was told.
This car has the only factory option which was air conditioning.
There are three options with this car moving forward.
1. Get it to run as the engine is free and rat rod it2. Restore it to former glory3. Resto Rod the car with more modern running gear etc
Amazingly there are specialist suppliers in America who still provide OEM and remanufactured parts for this car. I can also help you with sourcing these parts and shipping them over from America.  
The hub caps are with the car. The hubcaps appear to be stainless steel. These alone are worth $2000. 00. If you don't believe me have a look. I have not attempted to start it as it needs approaching properly but the engine is free and the seller said that it ran fine about ten years ago. I am not offering any guarantees here its an old barn find.
I've had a few questions about rust. The car is not a rust bucket but it does have some local rust areas that will need to be addressed as part of the restoration process.

These cars are worth quite a lot of money when restored so it's worth doing right. To be honest given the rarity of these cars and their place in history they ought to be worth more.
