Chevrolet Express 5.7 American Day Van

Hi. Our listing was removed by Ebay because of wrong title. we had 4500 viewers and about 100 watchrs  for 14 days so Croco still popular old fart and we try to make a description again.
Chevrlet Express 1500. 5. 7 Vortex.  Rare Sherrod  Sport conversion( no moon lights or disco ball) 1998. 46k genuine miles on the clock. Full service history from new. only one garage was looking after van ever since I bought him. One of the best example in UK for sure. 1 year MOT with no advisory etc. Road Tax £240. Cheap Classic insurance cost me 380 pound yearly. His name is CROCO. he is member of my family for last 3 years. we made 3 big EU trips. each 3 month long with any single problem. recently( September) cameback to UK and decide to try to find good new family for him because last trip was our last one. unfortunately!This van was ordered by the man from UK to carry his desabled son. vehicle came from America as desabled people carrier with the lift inside. holding rails for chair and other stuff  to that purpose. He had no middle chairs. no  safety belts etc. In 2013 the owner left the van for sale in garage which look after him. someone bought it and kept for short period of time and done 200miles only. I found him on Ebay 30 miles away from me. clicked Buy It Now and went to pick him up. he was a bit neglected but I've seen new progect and new baby in him. He becomes mine and I took him home. I sold my first Express 6. 5 diesel just a few weeks before as finished project. it was good but he/her has no even name. Croco got his name at first sight. So after first Express experience I know what to do with this one. Project began from removing lift. rails. carpet. enterior and stripped white cloth front seats. ear sofa. was dirty as a hell. Start to looking for the middle chairs also. All interior was build back and properly sealed to avoid the squicks and other annoing noises which exist even in new vans. doors and sides was insulated to reduce a road noise. put the new wire looms just in case cos it placed under the carpet( bad yank job). New  expensive dark gray carpet was cated and fitted back. No usual old bucket ODOR anymore. Remember. all this work done by myself. my hands in right place so all job was done by maximum dedication. All blinds like new. the sun covers for the windscreen and side windows made especially for  this vehicle. Croco got nice original British Race Green paint. Before polishing I removed all original vinil stickers which was all over the van. had hate them from biginning. ne left on the top not to get pure green van. CROCODILE logo was cuted from quality vinil. I polished with buff machine and 3 stages polish. nice and shine again. found  right rear quoter panel was painted but did not see  any trace of damage etc. Top was painted by the first owner. there is no paint or lacquer peeling at all. Skirts was done recently in Europe with little different green tone and blue lacquer which sparkling on sun like mad. god job. All chrome like brand new. I have no reason even stop on this. The 18" American Eagle wheels was professionally repainted by my ex boss. new chromed cubs came from America and new Chrisler bolts was fitted with  Hankook 245/55/18 tires. Very nice concave  alloys!Full anticorrosion procedure was done in August this year. bottom was washed. cleaned and greased despite there was no trace of rust. seems to be the van never seen rain.
M1J Birmingham company made custom exhaust to me. I wanted tips defo before rear wheels but two sides was a bit deare so only one side was done. Tip very big. sound  tone awesom. not crazy like a hotrod but powerfull with V8 roar. It came with life warranty!Mechanically sound good. no noise. overheating or leaks. Spark plugs and leads new. recently serviced. Shocks dry. looks like new but I have no record of changing. Gearbox was removed by the first owner to replace oil pump(£1000). it is smouth and has no ussual american jerks. Little sweat on rear transmission but it is common( no leak). Spare wheel lift was removed and serviced by me. last Express droped the wheel on the road because of rotten metal cord. lacky no one was behind us. Tow bar is new with new plug but never tow anything. Rear lights also new but got original also. Reverse lights (LED) was placed under the bumper I love them there. New TV  wall was made by my friend instead flat one and small 100 years old television. NEW LCD TV/DVD was fitted with right angle to watch it from middle seat or rear sofa. Painted same wood effect as rest of interior. charged me properly but job is perfect. TV connected to its own sound system with little AMP and Pioneer speakers. Two leather captain chairs and safety belts came from Astro. they are a bit smaller then Express ones but it is allow me to play with the space to my 3 French bulldgs and little son.  One installed. second seat sold. it is swivel and removable if you need insite empty at all.  I did not like one leather. rest cloth and decision was made. NEW LEATHER!!!  Two month later all seats came back  from EU with black BMW leather. white thread and logo Crocodile made for my order on each seat. great job for big money! Nice leather smell inside the van now!Croco also got premium sound system. professionally wired and set up. Single din Pioneer. JBL component frontal sound speakers. JBL amplifier. Pioneer speakers for background noise and shallow subwoofer under the passanger seat. my wife does not like it ))) I love Rolling Stone and ACDC so the power is incradable.
