 Marcos 3 Ltr GT. registered 01. 01. 1973. tax exempt. rebuilt in 2004/2006 from new body/chassis supplied to previous owner in 1983.

Every part of the car was recommissioned as new with no expense spared. Engine. gearbox/overdrive. rear axle rebuilt. All suspension poly bushed and Avo adjustable Gas struts to original spec manufactured and fitted.

Brakes as follows. front TR6 calipers with Greenstuff pads and vented drilled discs (Ford spec) . Rear axle and brakes standard 3 ltr Capri. Twin balanced bar brake system installed with Wilwood Brake Cylinders. All pipework. brakeshoes and cylinders new.

Front hubs converted to Ford PCD and track width enlarged to rear axle dimensions with Merlin Motorsport hubs. Triumph Vitesse front suspension.
Fitted with Minilite 15x6 wheels manufactured to match standard rolling diameter and fitted with Daytona D200 tyres.

Steering. Triumph Vitesse rack new. 13. 5 in. leather steering wheel.

Engine built for fast road spec. unleaded modified heads with Kent fast road cam. electronic ignition. new DGAS carb. Facet red top pump. oil cooler and high pressure oil pump. Reduced height sump. running pressure 80 PSI.

Custom built heavy duty stainless steel exhaust system.

Body painted in cellulose with front and rear spoiler. modified arches at rear. Webasto roof fitted.

Recently re-trimmed to match exterior colours.

Electrical. rear lights Land Rover e marked for compliance. Front lights BMW E series front lights. also e marked. All circuits operated from relays to cope with higher loads of modern equipment. Radiator from Subaru Imprezza with fan. manual override for use in traffic.

This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of motoring history which is a virtually new car and built to modern road requirements. The car is now fully run in and has been recently set up on a rolling road to produce 175 BHP at the wheels. There is a complete build file with all invoices. I dare not add them up! It drives extremely well and is a true sports car from a bygone age. It has it's Marcos foibles. but this adds to the character of the car.
