Freshly restored RS2000 in stunning red. e bought this car a few months back as in unfinished project off eBay from an idiot. say idiot as he was a liar and we got ripped off. Suppose this is what happens when you don. go and view and take someone's word for it. But as it was a 14 hour round trip I decided to trust him and sent a car transporter to pick it up. If I ever go to Brighton he will be getting a knock . The 'IDIOT' told me it wants a few bits to finish off . ot a lot to spend . We decided before it was delivered to strip it put it on the spit and get all under seal off . tone chip it and repaint. If only. he front end was full of catty . he chassis full of holes and so was most of the floor. o it has had new front end. ew chassis and new half floor. r by the way it was mot. too. Complete new brakes front and back standard. ew Weber carb. ew radiator. ew just about everything. It has virtually had a complete resto. nd seats been retrimmed were required . It is now a stunning possibly show winning car. As the photos show it's a proper car now. We have spent a lot of money and 100. of hours and hard graft to get the car as it is. But we enjoy it and have done numerous classic fords to showroom condition and continue to do so. ext car is a mk 1 rs2000 which will be concourse in vista orange and for sale in the new year. Right back to the mk2. it also benefits a 5 speed type 9 gearbox and new clutch. arb is also automatic choke.
