1969 Chevrolet Chevelle

For sale is a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu. I was in the process of restoring this vehicle. however am no longer able to continue. I am moving and will have no place to work on her.  
For me. this was going to be a keeper. So a lot of the parts that went into this build were not cheap parts. (which is why it's loud and fast). I nearly completed the mechanical aspect but never made it to the body. I bought the car in 2009 in Cambridge. Massachusetts. The car was a summer driver for an older gentleman with the original 250 cubic inch motor and 2 speed powerglide.  
I started work pretty quickly. We took the old motor and transmission out. Ordered a rebuilt motor from Phoenix Engine Builders and a whole truck load of parts from Summit Racing. They showed up in a few weeks or so. Spent around 9-10k on parts including the motor.

Everything under the hood was new 2 years ago. From the spark plugs to the pistons and all the way back to the exhaust. I could talk about how beautiful and deep this car sounds when you turn that key. It would never do it justice.  
Mechanically this car is sound. nbsp;aesthetically she does need a little work. But the hard work is done.  - Headliner is torn in the back- Seats have some rips    - Dash is peeling- Needs new speakers- Speedometer and Gear shift indicator need to be reattached as i was converting this car to a posi rear end. the car is not currently- Body needs to be sanded. the car had some amateur body work done on the lower parts with bondo. a proper repair should be done on her using steel- Needs new exterior trim
Look through all the pictures. take your time and make sure your wife is okay with this purchase. Who are we kidding? Don't tell her. surprise her with it!
