Hi & welcome to my auction for a 1969 Series 2a Land Rover Diesel with a Discovery 1 200tdi donor vehicle.
I bought the Series 2a over a year ago with a bit of a smokey engine. so i had all good intentions of fitting the 200tdi engine out of the Discovery. to make it a more user friendly vehicle. however i am no mechanic & various people i have asked to do the conversion have let me down so i have to face facts & i think my best option is to sell both Landies together & let someone with a bit of know how take on the project.
However the Series 2 is a runner & was MOTed untill recently but is temperamental on starting the mot has expired & i havent taken it for a new one. all the electrics seem to work & the chassis looks solid. but please come & have a look for yourself. br>the Disco has a good engine but the sills are fairly rotten but this vehicle is becoming very hard to find now.
So basically the auction is for a Series 2a & Discovery 1 200tdi . any questions will be answered & viewing recommended. sorry no paypal cash on collection many thanks for looking
