1996 Chevrolet Impala SS

Well 20 years has now past and I still love this car now as much as I did back then.  Only thing that has changed is my age and therefore lack of time to drive this beauty.
For those who don't know the 94-96 Impala this was the first time since 1969 that Impala wore the SS badge.  The 96 was the last year of the 3 year run.  This was the only year with the very desirable floor shifter and also is painted in the very cool Dark Cherry Metallic.  Looking exactly like the concept car the Impala hit the ground running with Chevy fans like myself.  With the 260HP/330 ftlbs Corvette engine. lowered suspension. 12 inch disc brakes. 17 inch aluminum wheels I was in love.
Up for sale is my very clean garage kept gorgeous dark cherry metallic 1996 Chevy Impala SS. I bought this car off its original lease in 2000. My brother bought one at the same time with me and we enjoyed both cars together for many years.
I'm an older guy and have cared for this car immensely over the 16 years of my ownership.  Its kept in my personal garage and only comes out on nice days for leisurely cruises.  Its paint shows very very well and there are really no dents or scratches to speak about. The interior is very clean. no weird smells or stains. .
With new tires. and brakes all the way around the car drives like a dream. It runs. drive. shifts. steers and stops like it did when I bought it 16 years ago.  Although I pretty much just drive it to car shows now days I would not hesitate to drive this cross country.  Its been a very good car to me.
Some new items worth mentioning other than the brakes and tires. New opti-spark. water pump. fuel pump. most all ac components. Over the years if something wore out it was replaced immediately. The last 2 pictures show 2 areas that are not perfect.  One is a small surface rust spot. other the headliner. Also the driver seat has a tear as pictured. Nothing major at all but I want to be as clear and honest as possible.
