VW Karmann Ghia Convertible, LHD, 1972 for sale

Classic. convertible Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. LHD. imported from sunny California in 2015.
Lovely red in colour with genuine whitewall tyres.
New hood with hinged glass rear window.
New black upholstery with red piping.  
Engine has been gone over and fitted with dual carbs and new exhaust.
Has current UK MOT. expires Nov 2016.
Car is tax exempt and low insurance. around 100 a year for me.
Car is a joy to drive for a 44 year old vehicle. top up or down. hard to do so without a grin.
Leaves smiles wherever it goes. ery cute looking car.
Engine has a fabulous throaty burble. ery VW. pops and bangs a bit on the over run and if you
blip the throttle changing down. hich you will.
Car just been fitted with historic.  pressed metal black and grey number plates more in keeping with
its age and character.
It is possible this vehicle has never been driven in the wet. ertainly not by me here 
in the UK and probably not previously in Los Angeles CA.
Car went into the container in LA pristine and came out with 2 small dings to front right wing
in Tilbury. either side knows anything about it of course. Has been professionally touched up. see 
last photo. Some other minor. uperficial marks and scratches.
Dash radio does not work. or dash clock. Not sure why.
Car is for sale elsewhere. ocal events and car shows etc.
Ideally needs to be viewed and driven. enuine enquiries welcomed.
