Ford Capri 280 Brooklands

Here For Sale is an opportunity to buy one of the last original unmolested low mileage 280 Capri`s. I have Owned this car from 10th October 1993 to present day with very little usage and has been dry stored in my garage.

The car was supplied new to Mr R Pope of Bideford North Devon By Raleigh Ford Bideford on 01/08/1987. He owned it until 12/08/1988 when it was then purchased by Miss Sally Ellen Daymond of Westward Ho North Devon.  
Miss Daymond owned the car until it was bought and detailed by Mr Christopher Collett of Cheltenham Gloucestershire on 07/02/1993. He only owned this vehicle until I purchased it on the 10/10/1993 as he had bought himself a Tickford Capri.

When I was looking to buy a 280. I looked at a number of them that even then were very average to say the least. This car was by far the nicest and had featured in several shows winning many awards. Since I have owned it. it was featured in Fast Ford Magazine September 1998 issue of which I have a copy.  In 1996 it was also in Ford Spectacular @ Beaulieu Motor Museum where it got runner up Concours From Lord Montague.
I have literally only used it very occasionally with a long period from 2002 until this year with no use at all.  
The Interior is immaculate. no marks at all on the seats. dash is perfect. door cards immaculate and uncut. parcel shelf as new. everything including electric aerial works as it should.  
The Alloy Wheels are in superb condition as are the Pirelli Tyres too. The Spare has never been out of the boot.
It has a working Phillips Alarm system with manuals original box and 2 key fobs. Car has all Manuals. original 280 Sales Brochure and both Ignition Keys.
Exterior has never had any new panels. all original . has never had welding anywhere at all. all door shuts . A posts and pillars all superb without any corrosion.  The paintwork is in very good condition ( Has the odd age related blemish but outstanding for a 30 year old car )
This car needs to be seen and is not one of these so called refurbished grot boxes that seem to be advertised on different sites.
This is the first time of advertising this car and I am only selling now due to as stated before not using it at all and feel it should go to somebody to enjoy.
