ALFA ROMEO - 1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Veloce RHDThis Alfa was launched in 1963. the Giulia Sprint was designed by Bertones Giorgetto Giugaro and incorporated the famous ” Scalino” or step front bonnet as it came to be known. With 106 bhp from a free revving twin cam engine. with independent front suspension. coil sprung live rear Axle & disc brakes all round . the car was acclaimed as a ” True Drivers Car ” and is considered today a really engaging choice by fans of the marque world wide . This model was the platform of development for Alfa for many models up to 1977. Chassis AR 298337 is an original & rare RHD car produced for the export market and first sold to South Africa. one of only 1400 RHD cars produced and believed to be one of just 20 cars known to survive in a roadworthy state. In this fabulous condition. this must be the best surviving Giulia Sprint GT Veloce in the world. I'm just giving you message to see if you have any information on the right hand drive alfa, as I own one it's a 1968 rhd alfa romeo giulia sprint gt veloce. It has recently been left to me by a family member, its been in a damp garage for 40 odd years so not in amazing condition but it still exists, and I have v5, this is the only one on the Internet I can find so taught I'd try my luck of getting any information on my alfa as I can before I deside whether to reestor it or sell it, if you have any information you could share with me on these cars it would be appreciated.
