restored 1979 granada 2.8i ghia (pre facelift)

hi there thanks for looking. here I have is a rare 1979 ford Granada 2. 8i ghia (pre facelift) I have restored this car from a very poor state to which the real eyecatcher it is now it is a very good reliable car and drives like new the engine is very sweet and the gearbox is a very good smooth gearchange through all gears and has a very good power delivery through the v6 injection 2. engine. the car before I brought it had been stood since 1996 so I am very happy it made it back to the road again after 17 years being stood outside on somebodys drive I do have the last road tax it was on the road in 1996 . the car wasn't even on the dvla database they thought it had been scrapped years ago the engine was just a block sat there so it has had a full top end rebuild and has unleaded heads on it and has been done propley. as I have said I did restore the car over the past year here are the new parts that have been replaced on the car fully resprayed. new lower front valance. 2 new front wings. 2 new rear wheel arches. nbsp; 2 new front brake calipers and brake pads. 2 new front shock absorbers. new rear brake cylinders and brake shoes. new exhaust system. new roof lining. new head gaskets. new water pump. new thermostat. new electric fuel pump. all filters was changed and fully serviced including plug leads rotor arm and distributor cap. plus there has been a lot off other little bits and bobs to make the car look the best it could  a few little bits that are left to do too finish the car to immaculate are    . air conditioning want regasing . the vinyl roof has a few bubbles appearing underneath the vinyl but hardly noticeable. and the backrest off the rear seat is sun damaged and has a few little tears in it but you have to look for them to see them. nbsp;   these few bad bits I was going to finish this year in between me taking it to shows. but I have got to get rid off a few off my cars due to running out off space in the workshop so like I say a reluctant sale but something has to go and I have other classics for sale aswell forgot to mention it has original trx tyres and wheels and spare the tyres are like new. it has 82546 miles on the clock which is genuine miles it has not been around the clock. it has original radio fitted in dash but I have set a cd player in the glove box out off site to save dash from being cut about. and the car has never been welded underneath and is far away from being welded even the spare wheel well is like new  so if your looking for a real nice old mk2 you found one very very nice car with lots off money spent. viewing is welcome at any time I am not hideing anything from anyone and everything has been done to a high standard  I can deliver  the car if wanted at a agreed price on top off the sale price just ask for a quote . but the car is on the road and will get you back home anywhere in the country  cash on collection . or any other cleared funds . no timewasters. no oversea bidders. this car is not going for nothing so no silly offers please. thankyou  this car is advertised elsewhere so have the right to remove  grab yourself a very rare pre facelift mk2 with a 2. 8i engine and air conditioning on it . thanks
